Cortez has said some pretty stupid things and had some pretty bad ideas, but they weren't all bad. If the Democrat establishment is actually that afraid of her, then perhaps they should've been a bit more in touch with their Constituents in her area instead of taking their votes for granted

The moderate Democrats have lost a lot of influence/support in those far-left areas. So much that I believe they are acting as two separate parties at this point.

The U.S. Congress's, refusal to seat then newly elected congressman, La Follette, four times is a historical fact. So there is a precedent for refusing to seat Cortez for also being a socialist. But in fact, she may be a gift to the Republicans, which keeps on giving, if she is seated. In any case the Dems will still have control of the House, for the next two years.

I can totally see the Dems assassinating AOC. She's so stupid she's making them look bad, and her politics are pretty much "Joseph Stalin." Worse, she seems to have somehow stolen the leadership role from Nancy Pelosi. (Granted, that might be due largely to Pelosi's increasing-obvious senility, such as when she wished everyone 'Happy Thanksgiving' on Valentine's Day.)
