I want to thank you for pointing out something I see as ground breaking in the debate about nationalism. All he bad examples I've seen are European, and Americans (North and south) think differently. Nationalism has been allowed to do terrible things in Europe, but the America's have a few nationalist nations, and they've mostly been fine apart from a few who sunk into socialism, and those are still at peace with each other. No Nazis here, however the European Union looks a lot like Hitlers outline of a Fourth Reich.

My take on issues is simple. More freedom, less Government and no wars.

Yes please. Until death rays are invented then I want 3 of those.

Marriage
Marriage is a scam to make sure X church was full of babies so they could grow up to make more babies to make more money for the church. Right now it nothing but a tax haven.

Sanctity Life
Read the bible bro. God was a hater. He killed lots of peeps. I feel the same sometimes. Being human does not mean you should be allowed to consume oxygen.

Racism
Peeps gonna hate. Its in our DNA. I wish it would end....

Nationalism
Peeps need borders cuz see above. Nationalism is an excuse used by politicians to send young men to their death in war. Thing is humans need about 50000 years to mature beyond current tudes.

Childhood Education
What good is childhood education when most of us grow up to be morons anyway. Waste of resources.

Jobs weren't a problem in biblical times. You did what your dad did, or, he sold you into slavery, if he didn't have work for you, or didn't want you around. And, well, "A woman's work is never done!".

When there was drought, and people started to starve, they just headed to "socialist Egypt", they'd take anybody, where the Pharaoh gave out free grain, and plots of land.

It's kind of a volunteer thing that will cause most the nation hate you. If that sounds good, sign up. I have been known to be a smart ass too, but that's because due to clinical psychopathy I don't really care what others think. Still, God’s morality can guide you and he will even help give you an advantage if you're doing his will.

Guns freedom to own
Yes, if not convicted or proofen to be extremly mentally ill.

Marriage traditional vs gay marriage
Gay marriage is okay but don´t force churches to make the ritual happen. Tax cut´s only for marriages with children. Marriage should be about love and family, not tax cuts.

Sanctity Life euthanasia, abortion, death penalty
Euthanasia on sick animals and people that want to go because they live in pain, yes. I am not to judge if someone want´s to take their life, it´s theirs also I condemn suizide. Abortion is tough. It´s not a black and white topic. It depends on the circumstances. What I won´t accept is the excuse to kill a unborn because it could have a bad life. That´s inacceptable and goes against every fibre in my body. No death penalty but lifelong prison for murder and they have to cover the costs for their secure housing by working, everything that is left over must be given to the victims family.

Racism let's end racism
No tolerance for real racism and no tolerance for those who use it to win arguments for the sake of painting someone racist. I think this should be fineable in the sense of character assassination. It is in Germany btw. If you spread lies about one in public to harm or discredit, you can even go to jail.

Nationalism
Be proud about your nation, if not do something so you can be proud. Instead of comparing your nation to others, make it great and be proud. No hate against other nations shall be accepted.

Childhood Education
Parents are parents and not the childrens friends. The job of a parents is to prepare their children for a successful life, not be their best buddy. Parents need to enforce values and standards non-violently. However there must be some disciplinary options or else you´re raising a spoiled brat.
This includes both disciplinary action but unconditional love at the same time. Constant praising is just as bad as constantly being critical.
"It´s for your own good" has merrit. If a child does not learn that it can´t interject itself into a conversation everytime, it will have problems in society as an adult. If a child does not learn to put back it´s own needs for the group for a while, it won´t be able to work in a team environment.

However if a child is criticized all the time even if it´s doing nothing bad, it won´t grow self-esteem and be able to put the fist on the table for it´s own rights when being an adult.

We had one. They effectively ran the country after the Civil War. It didn't end well, hence the arrival of Charles II. We don't do theocracy here, it's about as popular as mouldy bread.

Yeah...BUT my deity would be the God of Sex, Drugs and Rock-n-Roll. Simon Cowell would be beheaded right of the bat for his insidious assault on all of music. It could work. I just need a platform.......

You don't say!?
Maybe that's because rounghly half of the work force are educated women. Men don't NEED to dominate the work force anymore, and housekeeping isn't "woman's" work. Pick up a broom. Read in the instructions on the washing machine and do the laundry yourself!

Your party would provide tax breaks for men with wives who don't work, you say?
So, working women would take home less money than a married man who keeps his woman home? Keeping women out of the work force is good for the economy!

Would you stop female general education as well? That would save a lot of public education tax dollars. Then you wouldn't have the pesky problem of uppity women, wanting to take your jobs!

Right now the government is reducing taxes and cutting job killing regulations. That puts them on the spearhead of economic growth.

DC needs to give corporations and small businesses a little room to breathe. Then it’s up to the private sector to see what happens .

I never got that either I was all for letting them get their marriage certificates, not for forcing religion to conform to their desires. Truthfully I saw an issue with issuing a government license for benefits based on a religious ritual.

To me God is positive action, I believe our whole universe consist of negative and positive interaction in many forms. I often wonder if the bible teachings weren't meant to be the basis for physics that was personified for the sake of basic human understanding, which was thwarted and became what it is through indifference of power struggles.

I see this very similar. Quarrelsome hateful atheists will say they have moral without god. They don´t understand that we don´t think that god is here to safe us all or prevent that kid from falling into the well. Or preventing us from becoming evil.

I was raised strict catholic and I hated it. I hated being forced to church. I passed the confirmation because if what the catholic church did in WW2. Everybody shook their head at me for not playing along and taking the money at least.

Still help out in our catholic community, just that I don´t go to church. I can quote parts from the bible if some regular church goer has some dumb remark towards me that make them look idiotic and set them straigt.

It´s still my community I grew up in. So even though I conemn the catholic church, I help out when they organize fests because community. I´m a well respected member of my community even though I don´t visit church even once in a year. I could have gone the route of the atheist but I recognized that god is more than that guy they talk about at sundays.

I wish people on both sides, atheist and religious would be a bit more relaxed about this topic and let people live their way of life. Just don´t force it down my throat or others throats and everything is good.




Edit: Forgot to add. Religions were born out of tribalism and community. They provided a set of rules to follow. Just like our laws today. That does not make religion obsolete.

Faith does not mean I walk towards a hole and be surprised if god does not safe me. It was my feet that took me there, not gods will. I see god as the spirit of humanity or a concept for our higher self. Not some white bearded dude who´s teachings were written down by humans.

Guns- yes, we have a right to own guns, even the UN kind of gives us that right if you wish to follow the rights they claim we all have through. if things gets tough, we have the right to grab our gun, grab our gardening equipment, grab our baskets and obtain our food on our own via gardening, hunting, or gathering fruits and berries growing naturally in our environment.
just like when the society fails to protect us, we have have the right to defend ourselves...
but, it's wrong to assume that the constitution prohibits the gov't from regulating the kinds of weapons we have, or restrict somewhat who should be banned from owning them. to say otherwise, you would have to explain to me why I can't own my fully functional tank or missile launcher or why criminals aren't allowed to own guns. or why my husband's hunting knife is considered illegal in some states even.

Marriage- keep "god' out of it?? I mean even the pagans of prehistoric time were pairing up and creating families, no god needed? before the catholic church decided they wanted ownership of the institution and made the law that all marriages had to be officiated by them most people were being married by their town and village leaders, according to their own customs. and those customs varied throughout the world and time, as well as the rules surrounding marriage. you couldn't marry outside the clan, you couldn't marry within the clan, heck some even allowed for same sex marriages.

Sanctity of life- such a noble cause that we fail so miserably on...

The ending of an innocent life is murder, be it an assault rifle fired on a crowd or the killing of the unborn in a clinic. War should be avoided when possible, but is permitted if our way of life is attacked. Some crimes, such as murder, may warrent death.

you do realize that a pregnancy can be just as much a danger to not only a person's way of life, but their life itself, don't you??? it's amazing to me how just a few talking heads on tv spouting about the possibility of wmds in some third world country can prompt the masses to start beating the wardrums, but then, they can stand in front of an abortion clinic and shout murderer to the broken hearted women who's been told that her best course of action, to protect her own health or life is to end a pregnancy that she had tried so hard to bring about!!!
if life is sacred before it is even brought into the world, then it should also be just as sacred throughout a person's life, weather they be rich or poor, ceo or janitor, man or lowly pregnant women!

Racism, Sexism, any idea that makes one group unworthy compared to another is kind of dumb, especially if it causes us to begin blocking opportunities for some to reach their full potential in their lives or force them into some predefined role they must play.

Nationalism- and this is only my personal belief here... nothing more.
each and every country, every area of the world, had every right to grow and develop as they saw fit. but that didn't happen, lands were conquered and people were forced to lay aside their customs and adopt the customs of their conquerers. I live in a land that is a melting pot, people from many different lands, many different cultures, many different gods. it seems to me, that unless you idea of nationalism is accepting of the idea that the person living next to you can be different, have different customs, pray to different gods, and that none are really supreme, then, I think you are missing the mark. most of us are on a strange land, ruled by gods that are not our own.. gods that have had a long history of being accepting and accommodating to us. this is not the christian's land! the christian land is in the middle east, in rome, not here. this is the great melting pot! the land that has always accepted those who could not find a place in the old world, with their strict and jealous gods and their selfish dogma. oh ya, you are welcomed here, so are your gods and their dogma, but don't claim this land as yours, don't claim supremacy.

childhood education- our public school system has assured that we have had a way to provide every child, rich or poor, an acceptable, and uniform standard of education, or at least it tries to. don't see what the problem is. sure it could stand to be improved upon, but that would cost money which no one it seems finds worth spending.

Absolutely freedom to own, freedom to carry, freedom to carry across state lines. I believe every child should be taught in responsible gunmanship starting by age 10 and should own their rifle by age 12.

I couldn't give two poops who one likes, loves or bungers. Personally I don't understand it and believes it goes against the natural law of reproduction. So be it, whoever you like, but stop trying to normalize this and push it on my kids.

death penalty - should fit the crime and must be prove beyond , 'beyond a reasonable doubt'. Crime rates might go down if there were some actual serious consequences to peoples actions. You start executing people, others might think twice about wanting to join that gang or whatever else.

This country had started moving a long way past rasism until bummer showed up and threw it in our faces constantly.

Nationalism
Every country has the right to be proud and love their country. Nationalism doesn't mean every one else sucks. It means that I love my country, I love and respect the men and women who have died and been injured or harmed protecting this country. You start to take that away from me, and yes, I will get angry and I will fight to protect the sanctity of this nation and our constitution.

Childhood Education
Get the government out of my kids heads. I have to deprogram every effin day when they get home so that they can think for themselves again and not just spout out the next ridiculous thing some backasswards teacher tried to pound into their head. I'll raise my kids MY WAY, with faith, good values, respect, courtesy towards others. Schools don't teach anything anymore, only how to take a test so that they can get more funding... to be used for what? To build a bigger school, fire more teachers, make the classes larger and the kids feel more like a tool than a human. Hell, kids aren't even allowed to laugh at school where my kids go or they get sent to the principles office. It's freaking ridiculously out of control.
