Why does Hollywood constantly get gay wrong? As a Bi woman I am always disappointed by Hollywood's version of what we are.

Yeah I really am tired of having it shoved in my face as a requirement. I'm all for personal choice, but why the hell do I not feel the need to shout my personal choices and orientation in people's faces?

Kate Kane has been lesbian in the comics for over a decade. Ever since she re-entered the comics in Infinite Crisis. At one point Grant Morrison had her as Batman's aunt by marriage, who Batman eventually banged. Before that she was killed by the League of assassins in the 70's.

I wonder if lesbianism or pseudo incest would be more unpopular with the not my Batwoman crowd, the super duper fans who never actually heard of the character until just right now.

Well if we look at the number of gay characters out there in hollywood is it really that overwhelming for folks? Off the top of your head can you think of that many gay characters? It's a big deal because both sides make it a big deal...who cares...I'm not expecting much from this channel anyway..

I'll send you a trigger warning if Batwoman becomes transgender in the comics. If trends hold. It will be over ten years after Batwoman becomes transgender in the comics, that the transgender iteration of the character reaches television screens. That should give you enough time to prepare yourself.

On a positive note. Batgirl is still straight. From your avatar it seems you both like wearing masks. She for sure understands the concepts of, when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. Since she is a masked vigilante. The only problem is, she is more into gadgets than guns. But I am sure you both can work around that. I hear fictional wedding bells in your future.

Too much soap opera in the comic book arena.

I'd like to see something that say focused on a hero and a villain and the relationship they have instead of who is putting what where.

I'd love to see a live action series that stayed true to the original comic book made of Spider Man and Venom. Even if it were only a mini-series.

Plus why not just make some new gay characters and give them a show ffs?

Make your heroes, don't steal them.

Can she at least be Bi? That way we can still have her banging BatMan as canon.

Just tired of the copy, pasting, editing amd rewriting on a whole. Getting hard to keep up on what the hell is going on in any comic book universe any more.

If they took some classics and straight translated them as written directly to film they'd have some hit shows on their hands.

Meh, the campy Batman an Robin beforw the dark knight was often joked about having a homosexual relationship. Even though the theatrics were gay or corny...whatever context you prefer.

Besides Batman's best stories are the crimes stories where he solos.

I just hate they are using already made heroes to look less discriminatory when they should make new, original heroes. Although I did like Sameul Jackson being Nick Fury.
