Just speculation. . .

Trump keeps Rod Rosenstein, fires Sessions, and replaces him with Haley who then fires Rosenstein.

Or maybe I should just stick to gardening and watching Matlock on the tv box.

Well, your hydrangeas ARE looking magnificent this year.

The trick is "when" to water them, not how much.

Any links for the Oval Office press conference?

Sorry to hear this. She seemed to be one of the 'grown ups', keeping an eye on things. I doubt if she's moving to a cabinet. Probably going home.... would be my bet.

I do find it very interesting that absolutely nothing of this dropped or was leaked.

Tells me this was meant to catch someone by surprise.

Breaking from Axios:

Scoop: Trump has accepted Nikki Haley's resignatio

President Trump has accepted Nikki Haley's resignation as UN Ambassador, according to two sources briefed on their conversation. The timing of her departure is still unclear.

What we're hearing: Haley discussed her resignation with Trump last week when she visited him at the White House, these sources said. Her news shocked a number of senior foreign policy officials in the Trump administration.

No other details as of yet or confirmation by other sources.

Watching some news about this right now.

Will be interested to see what the reasoning is. Kinda thinking there is a health reason personally. She has been looking a little gaunt the last few times I have seen her.

I'm sure the left will find some way to blame it on Trump's policies or say it's because of his "misogyny."

Complete speculation from Twitter: Sessions out as AG, Lindsey Graham to become AG and maybe Nikki Haley to run for Graham's seat.

Hot #ing dog!

I also wonder, if this was planned 6 months ago, why they wouldn't hold it until after the midterms. That tells me it's got to be something positive.

something about nikki Haley resigning at the UN, the head of interpol being detained and the Saudi ambassador being killed.... something about them all seems related

-commented on the other thread which..will probably be ended

Graham up for AG? not surprising. He's been 'auditioning' for it for weeks.

Yeah...I find that odd too since she is apparently staying on through the end of the year.

Could be just to give enough time for the incoming to be brought up to speed.

Pompeo was also in China at the time of the announcement of the Interpol president being detained.

Trump said he hopes she comes back and could have her pick of any position she wants.

Interesting....

Sounds like she's leaving at the end of the year. Trump left an open offer for her to come back in a different capacity.

They're announcing it as she just wants to step away. I guess we were all wrong, at least based on what they're willing to say. I wouldn't be surprised if something else comes of this early next year though.

Tell that to your tulips, they're a little dried out and need some Chapstick.

I hope not, he is the epitome of a pandering politician.

The only Republican I could support (right now) as AG would probably be Trey Gowdy.
edit on 9-10-2018 by CriticalStinker because: (no reason given)
