the uk has had a lot of snow latly we have never had this amount in so little time, i think the north atlantic curret is changeing due to frash water and this making are warm climate dissapering making the cold weather move down from the north. what do u think?

yeah the snow has been weird but the weather is going through so many different mood swings. one minute there's sun, the next there's snow. i expected a lot of snow today but there was nothing and yesterday it was hammering down.

I don't think theres anything unusual at all. When I was young we had far worse snow than this where I live (midlands), which lasted for far longer. So, if anything, IMO the weathers getting warmer overall, which is probably just as bad. One thing I do know is that as I get older, it certainly seems colder and for longer! I hate being cold! Stick a great big outboard on Scotland and shunt us down to the Canary I slands, thats what I say

there's nothing unusual about the snow at all. we had it the same time last year and the year before that. also it has nothing to do with the north atlantic current. the snow is coming from the south-east. go back 200 years and in england you would have found winter to have a lot more snow, if anything we have less snow now than we did back then... there's nothing at all that we should be suspicious about

Rather snow than sun.

10 inches on the pennines last night. Freakish? Na, far worse a century ago.
