Both sides got the snip end of the stick...Kavanaugh and Ford. One gets his reputation ran through the mud being called a rapist. The other gets her name ran through being called a slut and a liar. It's embarrassing to say the least....

I keep seeing people claim people are calling her a slut
Other than obvious trolls, who has done this?
Meanwhile, we have actual democrats in the senate say they already know Kavanagh is guilty
in talking about people on here.
these people live in real life and if they post these things i tend to believe they feel this way.
how do we know they are an obvious troll and do not really feel this way.
you see the posts man
Show me the post on here calling her a slut.
I will condemn that.
Meanwhile, people claim this shows how much harder women have it, when in my mind, a few anonymous people on social media saying she is a slut is far less serious than US senators declaring him a sexual assaulter based on no evidence.
i know you would condemn it. you have a level head but dude i am not digging through all the pages of all the threads. i dont need you to condemn it either.

why are do so many rapes and other sexual assaults not reported by the victim?
in your opinion
There could be many reasons, shame, lack of belief, the numbers of unreported assaults could be wrong, lack of legal advice, etc.
Why are so many men who are abused by women, both sexually or otherwise, not reported? Why are women given lighter sentences for those crimes when they are found guilty?
The fact is its very complicated, but its not as simple as the world is out to get women or doesnt trust them.
False allegations of rape are believed to be more common than many persons realize. These are the findings of four research studies: A review of 556 rape accusations filed against Air Force personnel found that 27% of women later recanted. Then 25 criteria were developed based on the profile of those women, and then submitted to three independent reviewers to review the remaining cases. If all three reviewers deemed the allegation was false, it was categorized as false. As a result, 60% of all allegations were found to be false.1 Of those women who later recanted, many didn’t admit the allegation was false until just before taking a polygraph test. Others admitted it was false only after having failed a polygraph test.
In a nine-year study of 109 rapes reported to the police in a Midwestern city, Purdue sociologist Eugene J. Kanin reported that in 41% of the cases the complainants eventually admitted that no rape had occurred. In a follow-up study of rape claims filed over a three-year period at two large Midwestern universities, Kanin found that of 64 rape cases, 50% turned out to be false. Among the false charges, 53% of the women admitted they filed the false claim as an alibi. According to a 1996 Department of Justice report, “in about 25% of the sexual assault cases referred to the FBI, … the primary suspect has been excluded by forensic DNA testing.6 It should be noted that rape involves a forcible and non-consensual act, and a DNA match alone does not prove that rape occurred.
So the 25% figure substantially underestimates the true extent of false allegations. And according to former Colorado prosecutor Craig Silverman, “For 16 years, I was a kick-ass prosecutor who made most of my reputation vigorously prosecuting rapists. … I was amazed to see all the false rape allegations that were made to the Denver Police Department. … A command officer in the Denver Police sex assaults unit recently told me he placed the false rape numbers at approximately 45%.” According to the FBI, about 95,000 forcible rapes were reported in 2004. Based on the statements and studies cited above, some 47,000 American men are falsely accused of rape each year. These men are disproportionately African-American.
Some of these men are wrongly convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned. Even if there is no conviction, a false allegation of rape can “emotionally, socially, and economically destroy a person.” McDowell CP. False allegations. Forensic Science Digest, Vol. 11, No. 4, December 1985 2 Ibid. 3 Kanin EJ. An alarming national trend: False rape allegations. Archives of Sexual Behavior, Vol. 23, No. 1, 1994 www.sexcriminals.com... 4 Ibid., p. 2, Kanin reports that in the city studied, “for a declaration of false charge to be made, the complainant must admit that no rape had occurred.
The police department will not declare a rape charge as false when the complainant, for whatever reason, fails to pursue the charge or cooperate on the case, regardless how much doubt the police may have regarding the validity of the charge. In short, these cases are declared false only because the complainant admitted they are false. … Thus, the rape complainants referred to in this paper are for completed forcible rapes only. The foregoing leaves us with a certain confidence that cases declared false by this police agency are indeed a reasonable — if not a minimal — reflection of false rape allegations made to this agency, especially when one considers that a finding of false allegation is totally dependent upon the recantation of the rape charge.”

Why are women not believed when sexual assault or harassment are on the public table?
Why? What do you think?
Some facts to consider before responding:
Campus Sexual assault
One in 5 women and one in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college
More than 90% of sexual assault victims on college campuses do not report the assault
63.3% of men at one university who self-reported acts qualifying as rape or attempted rape admitted to committing repeat rapes
Crime reports
Rape is the most under-reported crime; 63% of sexual assaults are not reported to police
The prevalence of false reporting is between 2% and 10%. ===== For example, a study of eight U.S. communities, which included 2,059 cases of sexual assault, found a 7.1% rate of false reports (k). A study of 136 sexual assault cases in Boston found a 5.9% rate of false reports (j). Researchers studied 812 reports of sexual assault from 2000-03 and found a 2.1% rate of false reports.

Do you seriously believe that most women would subject themselves to public ridicule to sabotage a man?
Yes, if it means stopping a Conservative because they won't be ridiculed. They'll be hailed as heroes to liberal women across America. If you wait 5 years or more to condemn a man for sexually assaulting you then you obviously aren't too bothered by it.
Furthermore, as Mystic said, those stats are impossible to believe. I bet they were taken from an activist website.

It's simple. Women who have proof of the rape via a rape kit after the incident, some clothing with DNA on it, semen samples..anything at all, they will be believed. These women accusing Kavanaugh have Nada, Nothing, Zilch. We're not going to simply "believe" anything a woman says, just because the world is all about women today. To women..you guys are special. To the Government, women are entitled. To the rest of us in the world...you're nothing special, so no special treatment just because you think you are special. Means nothing to me at least.
Here are some information for you as well...

The GOP-controlled Senate delayed the uncontroversial Merrick Garland almost a year - now indefinitely - in order to obstruct the court, Obama's powers as President, and steal a SCOTUS seat.
Now they want to rush in another candidate within weeks. Their poker face is poor, and they show their true colors.
They don't care about the Constitution. They don't care about the Republic. They don't care about your rights. They don't care about your well-being. They only care about power.

I have never made a claim about if the charges are true.
There are many posters on here claiming one or the other is lying and they are hardly ever challenged. I will repeat I have never made a claim one way or the other nor will I because I have never met either of them.

I agree biut want to make two points.
First, if you were willing to acceopt evidence that more men committing murder is beacuse men are more violent, would you also make the same claim along racial lines. In other woprds, if one race committs more murder or violence, is it just because they are more violent?
Or would you demand we look into other areas because it would be racist to say that?
Secondly, you are right, but still men are victims of much violence and even sexual assault domestically, and they report to a lessor percentage than even women do.
My point is these are complicated matters, and to act like the world is out to get women and that is the end all be all of why the dont report is too over simplistic.
