"Why don't you believe these women?"

What I "believe" is irrelevant. Who the F am I to inject what I "believe" about two people I hardly know regarding a crimanal matter?

Now when it's proven that one of them is lieing and/or mistaken. Than I will "know" what happened and my opinion of the people involved will be updated.

Those stats are complete BS.

If they were even half true, college campuses would basically be like Rwanda and parents wouldn't dare send their kids to university.

Oh?

What about killings, then? The most serious offense, one which attracts the most serious investigation.

We know those have a victim and one or more perpetrators... yet, over 1/3rd of known murders are never ever cleared.

Also, cleared doesn't mean solved; rather, of the roughly 66% of murders that are solved, the authorities think they know who done it. This includes dead suspects or charging someone(s) with the crime. However, about 1/4th of murder charges end up not sticking.

The net result is that only about half of all murders in the United States of America end up with someone punished for the crime or dead.

Half.

Probably because it's not as common.

Women are victims in approximately 22% of murders, but offenders in only 11% of murders.

Twice as many women are murdered by their husbands/boyfriends/exes as are killed by strangers.

Most of those offenders are against specific targets, often family/friends as is typical of most murders; more broadly, of mass shooters, only about 2% are women.

Men are just way more violent.

It's simple. Women who have proof of the rape via a rape kit after the incident, some clothing with DNA on it, semen samples..anything at all, they will be believed. These women accusing Kavanaugh have Nada, Nothing, Zilch. We're not going to simply "believe" anything a woman says, just because the world is all about women today. To women..you guys are special. To the Government, women are entitled. To the rest of us in the world...you're nothing special, so no special treatment just because you think you are special. Means nothing to me at least.

Here are some information for you as well...

About Half of Rape Allegations are False, Research Shows.

False allegations of rape are believed to be more common than many persons realize. These are the findings of four research studies: A review of 556 rape accusations filed against Air Force personnel found that 27% of women later recanted. Then 25 criteria were developed based on the profile of those women, and then submitted to three independent reviewers to review the remaining cases. If all three reviewers deemed the allegation was false, it was categorized as false. As a result, 60% of all allegations were found to be false.1 Of those women who later recanted, many didn’t admit the allegation was false until just before taking a polygraph test. Others admitted it was false only after having failed a polygraph test.

In a nine-year study of 109 rapes reported to the police in a Midwestern city, Purdue sociologist Eugene J. Kanin reported that in 41% of the cases the complainants eventually admitted that no rape had occurred. In a follow-up study of rape claims filed over a three-year period at two large Midwestern universities, Kanin found that of 64 rape cases, 50% turned out to be false. Among the false charges, 53% of the women admitted they filed the false claim as an alibi. According to a 1996 Department of Justice report, “in about 25% of the sexual assault cases referred to the FBI, … the primary suspect has been excluded by forensic DNA testing.6 It should be noted that rape involves a forcible and non-consensual act, and a DNA match alone does not prove that rape occurred.

So the 25% figure substantially underestimates the true extent of false allegations. And according to former Colorado prosecutor Craig Silverman, “For 16 years, I was a kick-ass prosecutor who made most of my reputation vigorously prosecuting rapists. … I was amazed to see all the false rape allegations that were made to the Denver Police Department. … A command officer in the Denver Police sex assaults unit recently told me he placed the false rape numbers at approximately 45%.” According to the FBI, about 95,000 forcible rapes were reported in 2004. Based on the statements and studies cited above, some 47,000 American men are falsely accused of rape each year. These men are disproportionately African-American.

Some of these men are wrongly convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned. Even if there is no conviction, a false allegation of rape can “emotionally, socially, and economically destroy a person.” McDowell CP. False allegations. Forensic Science Digest, Vol. 11, No. 4, December 1985 2 Ibid. 3 Kanin EJ. An alarming national trend: False rape allegations. Archives of Sexual Behavior, Vol. 23, No. 1, 1994 www.sexcriminals.com... 4 Ibid., p. 2, Kanin reports that in the city studied, “for a declaration of false charge to be made, the complainant must admit that no rape had occurred.

The police department will not declare a rape charge as false when the complainant, for whatever reason, fails to pursue the charge or cooperate on the case, regardless how much doubt the police may have regarding the validity of the charge. In short, these cases are declared false only because the complainant admitted they are false. … Thus, the rape complainants referred to in this paper are for completed forcible rapes only. The foregoing leaves us with a certain confidence that cases declared false by this police agency are indeed a reasonable — if not a minimal — reflection of false rape allegations made to this agency, especially when one considers that a finding of false allegation is totally dependent upon the recantation of the rape charge.”

Why are women not believed when sexual assault or harassment are on the public table?

Why? What do you think?

Some facts to consider before responding:

Campus Sexual assault

One in 5 women and one in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college

More than 90% of sexual assault victims on college campuses do not report the assault

63.3% of men at one university who self-reported acts qualifying as rape or attempted rape admitted to committing repeat rapes

Crime reports

Rape is the most under-reported crime; 63% of sexual assaults are not reported to police

The prevalence of false reporting is between 2% and 10%. ===== For example, a study of eight U.S. communities, which included 2,059 cases of sexual assault, found a 7.1% rate of false reports (k). A study of 136 sexual assault cases in Boston found a 5.9% rate of false reports (j). Researchers studied 812 reports of sexual assault from 2000-03 and found a 2.1% rate of false reports.

Do you seriously believe that most women would subject themselves to public ridicule to sabotage a man?

Yes, if it means stopping a Conservative because they won't be ridiculed. They'll be hailed as heroes to liberal women across America. If you wait 5 years or more to condemn a man for sexually assaulting you then you obviously aren't too bothered by it.

Furthermore, as Mystic said, those stats are impossible to believe. I bet they were taken from an activist website.

The GOP-controlled Senate delayed the uncontroversial Merrick Garland almost a year - now indefinitely - in order to obstruct the court, Obama's powers as President, and steal a SCOTUS seat.

Now they want to rush in another candidate within weeks. Their poker face is poor, and they show their true colors.

They don't care about the Constitution. They don't care about the Republic. They don't care about your rights. They don't care about your well-being. They only care about power.

That 'research' is posted on a website belonging to the Florida Action Committee:

Florida Action Committee (FAC) is a non-profit advocacy and support organization for sex offenders and their families based in Florida. Florida Action Committee is state affiliate of National RSOL, and part of the movement to reform sex offender laws in the United States.

Said research consists mostly of some links to other websites. Most of those links are dead. The one that does work is primarily talking about exoneration or conviction by DNA evidence of men accused of rape AND murder, so it's not like the girl was still alive to be making a false accusation...

Forgive me if I dismiss it outright without investigating further.

Yes, a lot of women were sexually assaulted in the past, it is probably better today than it was forty years ago.

I just do not believe the Ford woman who is making allogations against the supreme court nominee. Now the second one saying that he exposed himself to her, I could believe her story, it sounds like what was happening back in the early seventies.

If the first accuser had actually gone to the cops and made any report back then, I would say it should be valid. Apparently it was not that important to her at the time. It actually happened a lot, but people who did do stupid things when they were young and testosterone driven usually have changed over twenty years later. I do not even think that this woman's testimony should be considered because it was so long ago. Why didn't she bring this up ten to twenty years ago or at least have witnesses she informed about what happened collaborate her story.

Steal a seat? By using the Biden Rule? Laughable.

There is no 'Biden Rule.'

You've been misled by propaganda.

Biden never argued for delaying a nominee until the next president was sworn in.
Biden's 'rule' was never adopted by the Senate.
Biden wasn't speaking about an existent vacancy, but about the turmoil over the earlier Clarence Thomas hearings.

Biden did propose delaying hearings until after the election in 1992 if a vacancy arose between late June and November 3rd. That is to say, delay any potential hearing until the election took place - not delay it forever.

It was over a year before the empty seat was filled on the SCOTUS.

I agree biut want to make two points.

First, if you were willing to acceopt evidence that more men committing murder is beacuse men are more violent, would you also make the same claim along racial lines. In other woprds, if one race committs more murder or violence, is it just because they are more violent?

Or would you demand we look into other areas because it would be racist to say that?

Secondly, you are right, but still men are victims of much violence and even sexual assault domestically, and they report to a lessor percentage than even women do.

My point is these are complicated matters, and to act like the world is out to get women and that is the end all be all of why the dont report is too over simplistic.

I don’t think so. Ruining a life has never been easier.

The precedent the globalist progressive media are establishing screams that all you
need to do is to accuse, and call yourself a ‘survivor’. Then, as long as you accuse a
person who is non-progressive, you get fame, the backing of
maggot riddled flash mobs who want their day of fame, and some pretty decent perks.
This is just one facet of retribution since the progressive train was derailed by Trump.

We may be in the process of forgetting this, but they will never forget:

The election was a vote against the media globalists more than it was a vote for Trump, and they know it, and it hurt them. This snafu probably set back progressivism a hundred years or more, thank God, and the voters.

This #webelievetheaccusers bandwagon....It’s basically a way to signal, a dog whistle to the globalist cabal that you will fit in, sort of like encouraging your kids to ‘transition’. It means you are ‘hip’. Alexa is listening, as is Siri, and Master Zuke....you can feel it as you riot. And you want those rewards for getting in early. A world digital currency. Citizen Social Scores. No borders and no Constitution. No private arms. Liberty is not all that important after all. You will accept a globalist regime. Trust it. Cower under it. There will be nothing to fight for again, except for maybe cameras and guards over every bathroom and dressing stall, to keep you safe.

Who will comprise this government? No need to guess. Brin. Zukerman. Sir bono or worse. Perhaps Hanauer, and his populist penis meets bolshevist twat ‘Pitchforks Are a Coming’ manifesto will whet some appetites. Hard to tell if this was blackmail or a voluntary toss of the hat, a bit of both perhaps. Already they are controlling things what makes you think they have any intentions to step away from this exhilirating mission to ‘make things right’, or do the ‘right thing’. Note how they trademark these deceptive ideological catchphrases like words to a song...like ‘weather’ to the weather channel, or ‘history’ to the history channel. As if only they and their progressive memes can do right. I sat aghast whilst viewing the post election google ‘inside use only’ viddy someone posted. Bookmarked it. Unsure if it is still online. It would be inconceivable to imagine a conservative, or non-progressive in that auditorium. And if there were one there...there would be no telling or there’d be a reckoning, as though you were a veritable enemy-during-wartime spy. Something is very wrong.

how do we know they are an obvious troll and do not really feel this way.
you see the posts man

Show me the post on here calling her a slut.

I will condemn that.

Meanwhile, people claim this shows how much harder women have it, when in my mind, a few anonymous people on social media saying she is a slut is far less serious than US senators declaring him a sexual assaulter based on no evidence.

i know you would condemn it. you have a level head but dude i am not digging through all the pages of all the threads. i dont need you to condemn it either.

you have been active. the posts are there

you dont have to believe it

i will ask you the same thing i asked ketsuko as well

why are do so many rapes and other sexual assaults not reported by the victim?
in your opinion

There could be many reasons, shame, lack of belief, the numbers of unreported assaults could be wrong, lack of legal advice, etc.

Why are so many men who are abused by women, both sexually or otherwise, not reported? Why are women given lighter sentences for those crimes when they are found guilty?

The fact is its very complicated, but its not as simple as the world is out to get women or doesnt trust them.

Men are just way more violent.

I'm not sure why you're bringing race into this, when you see above that basically half of murders are unsolved and we're talking about gender.

Additionally, those who were convicted but are later found innocent seem to be disproportionately minorities - and guess what? They don't necessarily update the clearance rate statistics when that happens. There are estimates as high as 8% for wrongful convictions.

Right now there seems to be a lot of cries that the world is out to get men - or at least women are.
