Why hasn't Rosenstein been fired yet?

It is getting pretty difficult to feel bad for Trump when he's had the power to end this all along. From the very beginning, the Mueller investigation was exposed as the farce it is along with the fact that an FBI investigation already found no evidence of wrong-doing.

Makes you wonder why this hasn't been ended already. Especially given so many reasons he could've dismissed virtually all those involved, including at the DOJ. Of course he can also dismiss them without cause, but I believe they'd be entitled to some sort of benefit or severance as a result.

I suppose it is for the same reason Republicans and Democrats always find Bipartisan support for their begotten mass surveillance authorizations

Trump has no political capital. If he fires Rosenstein to get at Muelller it would be obstruction of justice. No-one who wants to be re-elected would support him then. That has been the over-arching theme of his brief presidency. No mandate, no political capital, no respect at home or in the world.

Here is the thing:

We do not know the name of the source, nor can it be confirmed who spoke, or what they were there or heard or even what all was said.

So where is the proof that he did? Or was it a sarcastic remark?

Every administration, since Nixon and Reagan, keeps in mind how a sitting president could be removed, and work to prevent such from happening. And have to know the law, in the case of the 25th amendment, along with plans that would have to be executed in the event that the President has been incapacitated and is unable to act. That has been around since JFK, and then it was brought up again and kept in mind after Reagan got shot.

Senator Diane Feinstein is EVIL. PURE EVIL.

1.) Feinstein connected Christine Ford with her lawyer.

2.) Two weeks later, Feinstein met with Kavanaugh and didn't say a word about Ford's allegations against him!

The attempted coup is over. The gamble didn't pay off. In fact, it backfired spectacularly.

Whether Kavanaugh is confirmed or not, the Dems have lost.

If confirmed, there is a conservative majority in the high court for the foreseeable future.

If not confirmed, the backlash of angry red voters in November will unseat many Dems (who already have the most to lose in the Senate), so the next nominee will be confirmed with no opposition in sight.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Sunday he believes "a bureaucratic coup", led by enemies of President Donald Trump, is taking place at the Justice Department.

Graham, a veteran member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, made the comments in response to questions about a report that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein suggested secretly recording Trump, and possibly using the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office.

When you consider Rod Rosenstein is who recommended that President Trump fire FBI Director James Comey in 2017, and 48 hours later, appointed a Special Counsel (Bob Mueller) to investigate President Trump for Collusion/Conspiracy/Obstruction... it's pretty obvious that Rosenstein AND Mueller are active members in this "bureaucratic coup".

IMO, Attorney General Jeff Sessions needs to UN-recuse himself ASAP, and put a stop to this madness! Then deliver justice to every one of these traitors, even if they are no longer in U.S. government.
