The world has seen far too much freedom of information according to those who hold power over the masses. The internet has allowed the exposure of some dark secrets, and it's getting harder every year to cover them up.... So they'll shut it down, instead.

The irony being that most people are still completely confused and have no idea which end is up. That probably scares TPTB more than if people actually knew what the hell is going on. People who are confused can do a lot of damage.

Sites will just no longer allow linking to sites that try to make them pay.

So that includes every site including search engines? Not being in Google is a death sentence for websites.

Google probably doesnt pay enough tax, they will find a way around it and get bigger at the demise of the little guy.

All stuff that will lead the EU into self-destruction ... extreme taxation and absurd copyright laws etc. are issues that will lead the EU to implosion !
