1000% agree. It is no longer the U.S. versus its foreign enemies, it has become a side versus the other politically. The whole two party system is flawed, we should be encouraged to free-think for ourselves and not believe in certain values (things like firearms, taxes, healthcare, abortion, immigration, etc.) because the leaders of our parties say this is what you should do.

Who says he lacks the temperament to be President?

Apart from almost every rational adult I talk about it with, no one.

What makes them the authority on the subject?

Constituency, basically.

I hate to break it to you, but there are plenty of rational adults who would disagree.

Constituency doesn't make one an authority of proper temperament for a position, and if it did then by authority Trump's temperament is fit as a fiddle for the presidency. After all, his constituents elected him knowing full well what sort of temperament he has.

Well I hate to break it to you but that's meaningless in context of what I said to you, I said the rational adults that I talk with about it. Anyone can disagree, just none that I have run into.

It absolutely does. It is the final word on who stays, and who goes. Pretty much the textbook definition of the authority on it.

After all, his constituents elected him

And now they are changing their minds because they saw they were wrong.
