I'd often heard others refer to a mixed race gal as "redbone". I never used the term myself, but I did see someone use it and some shock result from it.

I never knew it as derogatory, and maybe it isn't.... I mean, is "mulatto" more acceptable? And if so, why?

Or, "mixed race"? Personally, people are people, but I do see the usefulness when describing someone, no different than "pale" or "tan", or having a certain hair color, etc.

People get uptight about everything it seems. Jeez folks, just chill with it.

because it isnt something you choose to be rich and it sounds racist type of thing to say no you are hardly getting into heaven because you are rich.no matter what some wealth will never dry up..even if you give most if it etc. by the literal term you ll still be rich.
