The two party system here has failed us. Americans got to lazy and learned to depend upon politicians to govern us. I was a teenager when I began to notice how people were swayed by a familiar name alone and how incumbents fit that bill nicely. Then it was the '' the son of'' or the '' grandson of'' and then too many fell for ''the wife of''.

And I agree that the whole thing of aiming for impeachment is a red herring. It would never get past the senate so why even try. Best hope for the Democrats is an honest election with a stalwart American patriot that can appeal to the left and the right at the same time.
