Umm conservative posters (not all) usually use fake news as proof of something and then nothing comes of them and they just move onto the next "supposed" fake gotcha moment.

It is quite easy for you cry fake news but like Trump you provide no proof.

Pre-conceived bias sites are what your side uses constantly and when those same sources are found to be false, you cry ahh..Liberal sites...fake news, without proving why it is.

Yes Warner was in march contacting a russian oligarchs lawyer (one that the fbi was investigating manafort for contacting), and saying he wanted to meet steele "without a paper trail".

Then 7 months later, he finally admitted to authorities he had these conversations.

Why did it take 7 months? Why did he want to avoid a paper trail?

Why is it ok for a democratic senator to contact foreign spies and a russian oligarch, but an over 2 year investiogation, including wiretaps, spies from the fbi, raids on lawyers offices, etc., need to happen to trumps team for in part meeting with the same oligarch?

The fact that you may not feel this is a big idea is fine.

I think that most objective people would say "Geez, if its worth investigating when one side meets a particular russian oligarch, why wouldn't it also be worth investigating if the other side meets that very same oligarch?"

It is, if there was criminal activity. So far there was no proof of criminal activity, just these text messages that show they were unable to set up meeting with Steele.

I do not like to use those kinds of sources until there is SOLID proof of criminal activity, which is why I never post about Trump collusion because there is nothing solid...yet.

I find fake liberal/republican sites use the GOTCHA title and nothing ever comes from them, so I never use them as sources.

Thank-you for identifying yet ANOTHER source for content contained within the FAKE dossier.

Also, the fact that Natalia Veselnitskaya has never been interviewed by Bob Mueller's team is very telling. Mueller indicts Russians just to make it look like he's doing something. The REAL target is Donald Trump.

But there's a little corner of my mind that says Mueller COULD be working with Trump too. Primarily because he met with the President for 4 hours, the day before he took on the role of Special Counsel.

There is no proof of criminal activity from trump yet.

Despite that, his team was wiretapped, the fbi sent spies in, his lawyers office was raided, and on and on.

That is what you are missing with the criticism of threads like this.

I am all for innocent until proven guilty.

But we should be investigating both sides equally, and its clear we are not.

And now, when you factor in people at the actual investigative agencies having the same "off the record" contacts with some of the same russians trumps people are bieng investigated for, and other foriegn spies, it raises alarm bells and should be investigated.

Not only is it not being investigated, the media and many never trump politicians are clamoring to even call for an investigation is questioning law enforcement and hurting the country.

So when you come into the thread and say its all lies when thats clearly not the case, it further adds to the idea that only russian influence on one side should be investigated.

Many Republicans and Independents (myself included) are frustrated by the lack of ACTION by the DOJ on the obvious crimes committed.

Former Assistant FBI Director Andy McCabe was referred to the DOJ for Criminal Investigation way back in April. So far...crickets.

Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL.) contacted the DOJ in late July to ask about the status of Criminal Referrals his committee had sent for investigation. The DOJ told him that they'd "get around to it".

For example, manafort doesnt register as a foriegn lobbyist = charged with a crime. Podesta group (hillarys campaign managers brothers group) doesnt register = politely gets asked to register years after the fact.

Trump connected people lie to the fbi = charged with a crime. Hillary people such as abedin and mills get caught lying to the fbi = granted immunity and not charged.

Trump people met with deripaska = shady and need to be investigated. Hillary people or other dems meet with derirpaska, some even asking to avoid a paper trail = no problem at all.

trumps team tries to get dirt on hillary from russians = possible treason, years long investigation needed. Hillary people pay a firm (and lie about it for a year) to higher a foriegn spy to get dirt on trump from russians = no big deal.

Russians have ads that seemingly hurt hillary = investigations needed, nonstop coverage of how this possibly stole the election. Russians post ads that lead to actual protest of trump in cities = no big deal.

Trumps lawyer needs to be raided in the middle of the night to ensure evidence is preserved. Hillarys team can destroy subpoenaed evidence, and even have a tech guy they hired asking people on reddit the day before the destruction how to remove a very VIP's name from emails = no charges at all.

Oh and eta, fbi thinks foriegn spies may be trying to infiltrate trumps team = FBI sends spies of their own to investigate trumps team and never warn anyone on trumps team (for their own good). Fbi finds out foreign spies have in fact infiltrated feinsteins team = n fbi spies sent, and they actively work with feinstein to root out the problem.

Its on and on and on and on. And yet we are supposed to pretend that even with all of that, and all of the proven bias from intel agents involved in both investigations, everything is being done perfectly legitimately.

It defies comprehension.

it's no secret trump is despised by many. the only problem is, unlike the dems and their shady dealings, trump knows how to cover his tracks and leave no trace.
