I have to disagree with you here CB. I do not see them as mindless minions but rather earnest Americans frustrated by changes in world demographics and the foreseeable end of American hegemonic dominance. I think that many if not most of his supporters are not in favor of the military indudstrial complex and the nation building of American secret services and neo-con agendas.

In more ways then one, they, in my estimation, are much like real liberals who are against these things as well. Trump would have no pull with them if they did not already have some valid grasp on our affairs. It is that grasp that he has usurped and is playing upon to further his own play for personal world power.

MSM knows that Trump knows how many criminals are within their ranks. The I.G. report hinted at it. The indictment of the head of security for the Senate Intel Committee last month (James Wolff), has them scared chitless.

He released the Non-redacted full FISA spy warrants to certain outlets, who used it for spinning their "anonymous sources" fake-news stories. CNN is one of them. Trial date will be set soon. Senators are being called..including corrupt Mark Warner.

There are very few exceptions

A free press is important; unfortunately we haven’t had that for some time

Hence we get them all pushing for wars in Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc

Trump calling out the media is not a crisis

If he would start wiretapping them like obama did, that would be a big deal. But strangely when obama did that, all of these media personalities and politicians so outraged over trumps tweets about the media were basically silent when obama did that

Also, funny how the main stream media gets to define what media need to be protected. While they scream about the importance of the press, they cheer for the censorship of alternative media sites they don’t like

Oh dear lord. Finally something I can agree with. I feel we should bring our troops home, shut down our over seas military bases, and put our military in charge of securing our border and building our infrastructure.

Trump is not the one censoring people. Our free Multi-National Corporate Press composed of 5 conglomerates is the one doing it. It's not just the recent banning of conservatives but this kind of monopolistic anticompetative behavior has been going on for a long time. They are consolidated to the point where free press no longer exists. We need to get in there and bust them up so we can get a diversity of viewpoints. This kind of monopolistic behavior wouldn't be tolerated in other industries.
