Lodge 49

A likable slacker Dud stumbled on the lodge, a caricaturish glimpse inside the lodge and the lives of some of it's members, a resident alchemist, an emissary, a spy, a corpse and a secret library, lots of unpaid loans, his twin sister Liz, unresolved personal issues, dialogues peppered with nuggets of seemingly esoteric references, the quest to find the lost scrolls and more... overall a decent watch.

Season 1 has 10 episodes. Here's the title of each episode:

A bit of trivia, according to Executive Producer Jim Gavin the title is a nod to Thomas Pynchon's novella The Crying Of Lot 49.

I just finished watching this yesterday. Very enjoyable but the 10th episode could have been better. I was left feeling they were writing for a longer season but had to hurry and finish it early so they jammed it all together at the end.

I am jealous, how did you get to watch the whole season... I have to wait like a chump.

I was just wondering if Lodge 49's back story from it's producers, writers, actors and crew will be as interesting if not more... and I'm a fan of Thomas Pynchon, even if I find his books a bit hard to read.

Uhh, I thought this was based on the story of our resident Augustus, but then I saw it said 'likable' .

I think that is against the rules here. Maybe a google search. Not just for Lodge 49 but also for something like download TV shows.
