I think in another thread something was said about zooming text (a browser function) affected some folks ability to star, that might help you. Zoom out to 100% or 75% and see if that helps? Do you use a PC or a mobile?

Ah that worked!
Cool, I can flag again - I use firefox on my laptop and android, no ad-blocker.
I guess whatever the glitch is doesn't matter now I have a workaround, nice one.
