Never heard of DeepFakes before? Can you really not think of any uses for superimposing someones face over another? Video evidence of anything will become pointless.

Imagine a tape comes out of someone famous doing something illegal or something that puts them in a bad situation. Now, all they have to do is cry "Deep Fake"...who can tell the difference?

Kind of interesting but not really surprising at all. No doubt there is an all out war on reality.

Just this week we’ve been treated to controversial audio and now, apparently, there is video. Someone was previously so bold as to even say,

”Don't believe the crap you see from these people, the fake news. ... What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening."

Not trying to be political, at all. Just an old-school CT, meta view of events. You know, the oh-so-convenient/coincidental timliness of a captivating internet post passively implying that we might not be able to believe our eyes and ears...

Instead, the alternate version film turns out to be proof of concept for an entirely digitally created voice, no human needed.

He says they can do ANYONE'S voice using just a small vocal sample.

Perfectly.

Why would anyone do that? It would have taken hundreds os hours for a proof of concept that could be done in just a few minutes. I think someone is lying.
