What are you expecting heaven to be like?

thanks LolliKum, I like your explanations. Perhaps people can really only explain the spiritual in earthly terms. And it will be totally different from anything we can imagine.

Just from memory there will be a new heaven and earth. Even a New Jerusalem.
No more pain, tears, or death. Life will be in perfect harmony with God and the Lord Jesus. In that life with glorified bodies and yes there will be lots of things to do. It will not be boring and everything will have 'LIFE'

For God is not the God of the dead but of the living. The presence of GOD and His Christ GOD will be spectacular, as I don't think there is any current idea that can fathom it. This type of existence is so different, that it makes any comparison unlikely. Even the life of a infant experiential difference compared to an adult or even your own top greatest experiences in life would without a doubt fall short and fail all the way in comparison to such an existence.

But the truth of it is for me as a believer it really is just about being with GOD. That incredible relationship!!!! Peace.

You will never go to Heaven.
You cannot get in.
The reason is that there is no you separate from what is.

When you disappear 'this that is' will be realised to be Heaven.

The absence of the separate self is heaven.......the presence of the separate self is hell.

But you have heard of time and you believe heaven is sometime later.........somewhere else.
When will you ever find somewhere else?

If now is filled with 'you in time'........past thoughts about what you did and future thoughts of what you should do...then you are divided, conflicted and fragmented.
But if now is only filled with what is actual now then completion, wholeness will be the felt experience.
Peace is here now......................time is fear.

I love how you speak.

Heaven is here on earth just like Jesus said. The gospel of Thomas and ears to hear are all you need to get there. I go there whenever i want and it really is unimaginable bliss. My whole body feels like an orgasm and the spasms lasts for hours or as long as I can stand it. I feel incredibly loved and the intimacy is deep. It's not really a meditation exercise anymore because instantly I can enter this state. I do it all the time now even at work. I got raptured if you want to call it that about over 2 years ago and it's been like that since more or less. It was while watching a basketball game. I'm telling the truth so take it for whatever.

Better be plenty of toilets there.
