I guess it depends on your church, or upbringing...
I think I get that but I think it would be nice if people can step out of that framework for the duration of a discussion to maybe learn something or
at least argue things you really think rather than just repeating the same old stuff you have been getting put on you for 30 years or whatever in the
same old church you were probably baptized in.
Anyway, back to the topic, it does say in Acts that the cloud that went with the Israelites as they left Egypt or were in the wilderness, was "Jesus".
I think it really means something like the shelter that it gave to the heat of the sun or the gloom of the night, was the same benevolent and loving
spirit that motivated Jesus, or was something done for the sake of Jesus in advance of what he was later fated to do for the sake of mankind.
