So it only counts for Christians.

You think that is a good argument?
It makes no difference....Buzz would not swear on the bible..............all he has to do is do it.

How would it make a Hindu believe him?

Are you Hindu?
Was the man asking him in the street Hindu? Are most Americans Hindu?

I'm not a Hindu.

I'm not a Christian.

But. If i didn't believe Buzz walked on the moon.

How would Buzz swearing on a bible i don't believe in prove he was telling the truth?

The point is.....Buzz would rather comit a criminal act in the street on camera than simply place his hand on the bible.
The video was posted here by Gortex to prove that Buzz has gone to the moon................if I saw Buzz swear on the bible rather than punch someone..I would be more convinced that he had gone to the moon.
Hey...but that's just me!!

I understand what you're saying.

It's not proof of truth to anyone who doesn't believe in the bible.

That's my point.

The point is...............he would not do it regardless of what religion he is .or what anyone else is.

Aldrin was obviously being provoked, harassed, and insulted by this horrible little girl, when he said that we didn't go to the moon!!

No worries, folks

Maybe he should have punched her too!

...sucker punch right to the kisser!

Heroic astronauts punch anyone - little girls, and babies, for looking at them 'the wrong way'!!

And of course, it's heartily applauded by the Apollo-ites, as a 'good thing'!

Actually even if He placed His hand on that damned Bible someone would say its faked or it never happened. You know like the original time He was recorded....

Are You also saying its impossible to lie with Your hand on that silly damn book?

To somebody of faith, anybody swearing on a Bible can be said to mean nothing. People have sworn on Bibles for generations, then got on the stand in court and lied their butts off. What is in the Bible only has relevant meaning to somebody who has faith in and lives scripture, hence hates lies and liars and would not lie, for fear of God. Otherwise, in addition, the devil comes as an angel of light, Satan one of the most religious beings ever, but of fake, deceptive religion, that can be all warm and fuzzy, smiley faced, and, nonetheless, a ticket to hell. Evil would accomplish nothing, coming as the proverbial horns and a pitchfork, in a red jumpsuit, spitting fire, whatever, the comic rendition of the devil, but relevant from the standpoint evil, that comes in the appearance of evil, people flee from. No, evil has to entice, be poisoned fruit that's pleasing to look upon, as a matter of fact fruit, no matter how beautiful, that doesn't have CAUTION: CYANIDE stamped on it. The worst liars are often going to appear the most honest.

The point? Buzz Aldrin could be a standup guy in the eyes of the entire world, be so, so credible to many, but simply another lying fool, in fact, and, in fact, none of you can say he's not that said lying idiot, based on any information provided here, idiot from the standpoint that, like all dumb conspiracies, a cast of thousands required, and no leaks? (Think about it, elaborate set that would have to be built, a large crew, working on it like some movie, fake data transmission hookups that would fool the press, a massive hack into diverse networks that were even hard wired: the behind the scenes manpower would be many, as well as far and wide, people working normal jobs, at all the organizations involved, all in on it? A stupid idea that could not be pulled off, without massive leaks. Such a conspiracy wouldn't even get off the ground, would be exposed, in short order. Stupid. Idiotic, like all dumb conspiracy "theories",)

Swearing on a Bible? There are even more well known preachers that are lying phonies, scamming for money in pulpits, than not. Swearing on a Bible is evidence of nothing whatsoever, when scripture is more used and abused than not by the world.

Actually, it sounds to me like it's a real copout, in the face of having nothing substantial to prove man never went to the moon: swearing on a Bible? That's really piss poor "proof" of anything, is, in itself, saying you've really got nothing. Like all stupid conspiracies, this is for tin foil hats unable to critically think. I do hope none of you tin foil hats aspire to be detectives. Actually, you shouldn't be allowed to even serve on a jury. Is there anybody here that can dispute being a painfully gullible person is just a fool?

Something else occurs to me. If Buzz Aldrin is, in fact, now saying they never went to the moon, this has to mean that he has been a lifelong liar, up to this point. So, that makes him credible how, pray tell? "I know I've been a liar all my life, but you can trust me, now." Actually, that's hilarious!

All I can say..that picture with his hand before one eye showing 666 is not a good sign. Since i have learned what such a gesture is about I would certainly not do this before an audiance... He, a very educated smart man does...this is bothering me.

I agree, seeing someone swearing on a bible doesn't mean they are being truthful.

After a couple of watches, I don't believe Buzz stated that we never went to the moon. The little girl posed the question, "why haven't we been back?" Buzz said, "that's not an 8 year old's question, that's my question" as if he's taking ownership of the question "why haven't we gone back (to the moon)?" Buzz then goes on to answer her question, "because we didn't go." If you put it all together He's agreeing that we didn't go back to the moon since the last mission, and is obviously frustrated, almost as if he believe he was doing for something for the greater good of Human kind, or to be part of the next big exploration effort, but maybe realized he was a political puppet or something. Imagine how you would feel if you were Columbus and came back saying, "We found America" but no one went back for further explorations. Kinda odd to think wed' have the entire moon figured out after a few trips when we still don't even have our own planet figured out.

Thank you for that explanation. I was wondering the claim Buzz said that may be nonsense, since fake news is a web industry. For that reason, I seldom investigate these bizarre claims, because there's so much nonsense, where a little truth is morphed into big lies. Liars notoriously lift words out of context. It's a primal M.O. of deception. For reasons stated, it's a very stupid conspiracy claim, but I also was thinking it weird an astronaut, that must be an intelligent professional and sound in many ways, would say something so very stupid, sans dementia setting in or the like. That he didn't say this, also, makes sense.

Are there people actually fooled by this after reading the explanation? It's obvious he wasn't admitting the moon landing was a hoax lol Jeez guys c'mon.

Not true , I posted the video of Aldrin on the Moon to prove Aldrin went to the Moon I posted the video of him punching the idiot in the face to show him being "convincing".

Buzz has nothing to prove , he went to the Moon regardless of whether you believe it or not.

Context is everything. Ignoring context never gives the truth. I think most understand what he meant.

I think everyone understands what he meant, some are just so desperate for proof of their silly theories they have to pretend this is it.
