I can talk to squirrels but they have nowt good to say about anyone or anything apart from themselves, it's just me me me me with those guys....I wish that magic gnome gave me a different gift .

She snorted her cubs up a tree then turned her body towards me and showed teeth. By now my gun is pointed at her. In my head I said "please don't make me kill you." Right then she backed down.

Had you been between her and her cubs, the situation would have been much different. I, too, once had an experience with a black bear while picking huckleberries. Turns out he didn't want any trouble, and I sure as Hell didn't. I froze, he stopped, pondered me for a moment, decided I wasn't lunch, and ambled off.

There certainly wasn't any telepathy going on on my part...unless "OH, #!" , repeated over and over counts as communication.

The Disneyfication of the natural world has much to answer for. Every year, we hear the stories, some nit wit with more Bambi watching than actual experience with wild life (they're called wild, for a reason...), walks up to the "friendly" moose, deer, or other, and proceeds to get kicked, gored, stomped, or otherwise mauled.

Not saying that's what you're doing. But telepathy with a cougar? Mmm...not buyin' it.

in law had this poodle. If you
winked at her. On my word that
dog would wink back. I mean a
conscious effort to look at you
and close one eye. From across
the room even. That's
communication on some kind
of level. She said the dog just did
it one day out of the blue.

Animals and human can, indeed, communicate. We do it every day. When we cuddle with our pups, and kittens--chatter back with our birds, even tap the glass of our fishes aquariums.

Body language. Sounds we, and they, make. All communication.

But telepathy? I'd need to see something like concrete proof of it. Impossible? No, maybe not. Unlikely? 'Fraid so.

Well if spirits are animals and we have more than one existence in time and space then perhaps this energy can be explained in another setting.

As simple as coming home and finding a stranger in your home and instead of freaking out man you just use non threatening tactics to convince the person to leave.

Or even reverse it and an animal comes home to it's den and finds a human there.

Bottom line is if all parties are in agreement then good things can happen.
