I love it on facebook, I post on a popular page for our town. When guys give me # acting hard I just say pick any pub in town and I'll meet you there in ten minutes, see if you speak to people so aggressive in real life...nobody has accepted my invitation so far. The trolls are always ones with no real picture of themselves, usually pics of Bruce Lee, or an MMA fighter or whatever...wankers.
I'd rather lose a fight than be submissive to an internet bully, I can see how it can affect more sensitive people, but I'm old and covered in scars so I don't give a #.

On a similar note, Banter Cafe resident BoneSay was getting # in threads for being Russian a while back, I defended her like #, she only just turned 18 over Christmas FFS, I can't stand bully's, never did in school, I used to fight them if they were picking on poor kids...the only fights I never got the cane for, headmaster thanked me for protecting them.

...another reason I'll defend young BoneSay is because we need young people on ATS, too many old guys like me here, younger perspective is a good addition to the conversation...she's funny as well, see the 'little Guinness can' post on the last page? She's been in Russia a week or two, got back to Mexico but her electric had run out so everything in her fridge freezer was rotting lol

I've done that before, I have to 'top up' my electric with a card at the store, forgot one time, left town for a few days then everything ruined in my freezer when I got back.

Smell is mostly gone after i got some help cleaning up the meat coffin... (previosly known as my fridge)

Timezone messed up my head, i think i was on the plane like at 1 pmm or so, then did a trip of 13 hours, got off the plane at like 4 pm, then did another 3 hour flight from 4pm to 7 pm, got off the plane at 9 pm....

all same day but different time zones

The UK would be the best country in the world if it was summer all year round though!

A tent in the yard is cool! scary stories, marshmallows, some whiskey or beers if hot night climate, and all that lovely stuff, maybe a killer in the woods, who knows!!

I ate fried tarantula in Laos a few times, they were crunchy and tasty...nicer than fried bats but maybe just personal taste lol
