I've had a brilliant day, 'my' Sarah cooked a fantastic Christmas meal, lots of laughs, met the mother of my son's girlfriend, she was good fun, chuckled loads, seems like my lad is serious with his gf now 'the parents' have met haha, makes me feel well old!
His gf's mother is coming to my son's 21st birthday party on Friday now, she was flirting with me today but is a bit older so I'm not really into her but I loved the laugh, decent person.
Quick pit stop at home now, off to my mates for Christmas drinks and more food in ten minutes...have a lovely rest of your birthday...the rules here is you party for a week when it is your birthday haha...more vodka!

I've bailed out going to my mates house, I drank a bit too much so walking the quarter mile to his place seems like a total mission I ain't up for lol, I phoned him instead and wished merry Christmas, gonna chill with the cat now and munch junk food while reading crazy stuff on ATS!

I love to meet new people as well, like a complete mind to explore, "another person another universe" my grand father used to say lol.. And yes it is so cool to pick their brains and see how they think and what they like, and tell them all about yourself too, so much fun

So far great, it kind of goes into the bad stuff for a bit every now and then, fragile relationship and stuff but things are moving forwards for sure

Have you ever had a feeling like everything, any moment now is about to blow up and you wake up and it was just a dream? Because that's how it feels right now lmao

Hope it is not, but i feel like some moments we are going to start arguing about dumb stuff and then the past will come to bite and everything will go back to how it was and things end badly

But so far things are well, and i had an awesome time yesterday!

You remind me, at times of my daughters who are finding their way as young adult women now...it's funny that yesterday there was a little "spat" between my youngest and her girlfriend. Her girlfriend is a cutie pie AND definitely a "girly girl" well, my daughter isn't and has never been LOL...

She wanted them to go and take Christmas photos and asked my daughter what she would be wearing and of course, it was blue jeans (nice ones mind you!) and some tee shirt with a hoodie I think, her hair up in a bun...her girlfriend definitely did NOT approve and my daughter simply said...I am not changing who I am or what I like so, if you want pics, this is the real me.

I am so proud that I have and still am raising strong and secure people and I hope that for you as well. Don't change unless you choose to, maybe you decide a new path or want to reinvent yourself? You'll be great whatever you choose because you are great and loved back.

Love what you said about your daugther, i have been a tomboy for most of my life and honestly i have girl friends who have hitted on me, becaauae they assume i'm into them, but i'm not they just think i am. i ride dirt bikes, play basketball dress like a boy a lot and be rude sometimes and get into fights and in general act like "boy" lol, i don't know how else to be, but i like boys, i'm just bad at it lol

Like when that friend did the kissing on belly button thing i almost ripped his head appart lmao..

Had a good day yesterday.
Being a grandparent doesn't make you 'grown-up', just old.

Boxing Day used to be a full session on the drink, watching horse racing and football and generally having a good laugh.
For some unknown reason I've agreed to help my mate in his pub tonight so I'll be watching the racing on tv, keeping an eye on my Super 6 scores and generally twiddling my thumbs until its time to go out.

Hope the rugby goes well.

Rugby was a great laugh, early kickoff hence I'm back home at 2:30pm, had a few beers, just enough with my medication to feel wobbly and know my limit.
Both teams were drinking port in the changing rooms before the match, it is a tradition. We lost but cracking game, the private school former students team had a couple of Greene King IPA Championship players, they were brilliant to watch, fantastic passing.
No such thing as a 'friendly' in rugby, they call it an exhibition match, but the lads all had a good run out and the crowd was definitely entertained ...working the pub tonight?! # that for a game of soldiers lol

Thank you that was beautiful I love guitars for real my father had a Fender Stratocaster and i went to music school and learned to play it, it was like the only thing i had that belonged to me after he passed. I tried to play like Hendrix but did not happen at all LMAO!

I don't have that guitar anymore since several years ago, but it was so much fun listening to that sound, and trying to play nice.. I spent tons and tons of hours on it for a couple years, so beautiful sounds those guitar make

I remember i used to put my ear on the guitar and play a couple things, just to hear and feel the vibration on the wood, it was amazing and magical. Have not played in several years but when i listen to guitars like that it just brings back so many things i don't even know how to explain
