Jordan allows passage of 800 Syrians from White Helmets
According to a Saturday statement, ministry spokesman Mohamed al-Kayed said Amman responded to a request to allow the 800 Syrians into the country temporarily to be resettled later in the West.
Three Western countries – Britain, Germany and Canada – made a legally binding pledge to resettle the 800 Syrians within a specified period of time “because of a risk to their lives”, al-Kayed said, without elaborating.
“These Syrian citizens who were working in the civil defence fled the areas controlled by the Syrian opposition after attack by the Syrian army in those areas,” he said.
The spokesman went on to say that Syrians will remain for a maximum three months in Jordan and their passage process is being organized by the UN only.
On 23 September 2016, the conspiratorial site 21stCenturyWire.com, which essentially serves as a propaganda mouthpiece for Russian and Syrian regime disinformation in the ongoing civil war, reported without any evidence that the volunteer search-and-rescue organization that has come to be known widely as the White Helmets has ties to terrorism.
Through the course of the bloody seven-year war in Syria, in which the regime of Bashar al-Assad has allied with Russia, a network of Western pro-Assad activists and bloggers (two of whom serve as editors of 21stCenturyWire.com) have helped spread to English-speaking audiences a series of conspiracy theories that deflect blame for atrocities away from the regime.. A common theme is the baseless but relentless claim that the White Helmets, known officially as Syria Civil Defense, are either terrorists or are “staging” mass casualty events like chemical weapons attacks.
While the article accuses the White Helmets of having terrorist ties in the headline (“EXCLUSIVE: The REAL Syria Civil Defence Exposes Fake ‘White Helmets’ as Terrorist-Linked Imposters”), it does not provide any evidence in the body of the story. It instead heavily implies that the White Helmets are terrorists because they operate in areas held by the opposition, and because unnamed crew members of what the article calls the “REAL Syria Civil Defense in Aleppo” (the Syrian government, in other words) told Beeley that was the case and she reported it uncritically.

Whoo Hoo! That'll certainly something for the Canucks to crow about! They'll be all up virture signaling in short order I am sure.
Snopes is a Deep State tool to discredit most of the conspiracy theories.
Virtue signalling is the conspicuous expression of moral values.[1] The term was first used in signalling theory, to describe any behavior that could be used to signal virtue—especially piety among the religious.[2] In recent years, the term has become more commonly used as a pejorative by commentators to criticize what they regard as empty or superficial support of certain political views, and also used within groups to criticize their own members for valuing appearance over action.[3][4]

Haven't this been proved to be a propaganda attempt to create a conspiracy theory? Serious question. I maybe indeed on of those "dumb people" but I never saw actual evidence supporting Assad's claims about this organization. Wouldn't it be in Assad's best interest to portray them as a destabilizing force after they show the world the casualties of his actions?
