I do. Part of that is minding who I do and do not look up to. If one lies down with dogs, one tends to get up with fleas.

So she consensually banged Trump over 10 yrs ago when he was nowhere near politics, and she was paid $130K for her troubles. Tell me how this is a problem today? Also, nobody called porn stars evil, but you'd be lying if you didn't admit it is indeed a dark industry with some rather seedy and unscrupulous people. Also, having sex while being filmed is akin to being filmed taking a dump into a bag as it is basically "performing" a bodily function as opposed to actual art that takes real talent.

You seem to be stuck in a bit of binary thinking. Not everything is black or white... actually very few are.

I know you won't understand this... but I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'll try again.

It is not just the fact that Stormy Daniels is a porn star. That is a red flag, not a absolute indicator. But her attorney is an opportunist, unprincipled ambulance-chaser under investigation himself. There's another red flag. She is still dancing, while trying to present an aura of superiority over the President. Another red flag. She got herself arrested doing so. Another red flag. She signed a non-disclosure agreement so she could cash in on an affair with a celebrity figure at a sensitive time (read: extortion). Add two more red flags there. She then reneged on her agreement she was paid to execute (read: theft by fraud). There's a dozen red flags there.

Her occupation causes me to be suspicious of her motives. Most porn stars are quite money-hungry, which is why they became porn stars on the first place. It's the same reason that leads some people to become drug dealers, gun runners, etc. I am suspicious of them, too.

I know there are some people, mainly young girls, who do things like work as a stripper to get through college. I am suspicious of them, too, until they get their degree and move on. Then I can admire their character.

It's confusing, isn't it? Actually looking at clues to character instead of just reading the letter next to their name or letting some guy on TV tell you what you should think. Sorry, that's the way I do it.

What hook? You think I'm on some kind of hook? Yeah, I like to watch a little porn occasionally... I think most people do, although a good number are too insecure to admit it... some too insecure to even allow themselves the guilty pleasure. I'm comfortable with who I am. I'm well past the Beavis and Butthead stage of life, so you can quit trying to use those tactics. They just make you look immature.

The only hook is not being comfortable with who one is.

Nope.

My initial opinion of him, like my initial opinion of any FBI agent, was someone who was likely a bit of a bully, but who would counter that inclination with professionalism. After hearing of his texts, I realized he might not fit that mold. During the hearing, I saw someone who was arrogant, power-hungry, and dishonest. Those are not character traits I admire.

I think Gowdy was finessing Strzok to publicly deny (under oath) rather than get answers.

Seasoned prosecutors NEVER ask questions that they don't already know the answers to.
