Nanoparticles Derived from Tea Leaves Kill Lung Cancer Cells
www.sci-news.com...

Camellia sinensis

According to new research led Swansea University, UK, nanoparticles derived from leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis) inhibit the growth of lung cancer cells, destroying up to 80% of them.

“We were exploring a non-toxic plant-based alternative method of producing the dots, using tea leaf extract.”

“Tea leaves contain a wide variety of compounds, including polyphenols, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants.”

The study author mixed tea leaf extract with cadmium sulfate (CdSO4) and sodium sulfide (Na2S) and allowed the solution to incubate, a process which causes quantum dots to form. They then applied the dots to lung cancer cells.

“Quantum dots produced from tea leaves inhibit the growth of lung cancer cells,” the researchers said.

“The nanoparticles penetrated into the nanopores of the cancer cells and destroyed up to 80% of them.”

“Our research confirmed previous evidence that tea leaf extract can be a non-toxic alternative to making quantum dots using chemicals,” Dr. Pitchaimuthu said.

“The real surprise, however, was that the dots actively inhibited the growth of the lung cancer cells. We hadn’t been expecting this.”

Well this article is pretty interesting! So for all you smokers out there that wish to detox your lungs naturally better start consuming this tea leaf...although I am not quite sure how much you would have to drink...it all depends on the extract apparently.

A little info on the Camellia sinesis:
- evergreen shrub or small tree whose leaves and leaf buds are used to produce tea
- is native to East Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, but it is today cultivated across the world in tropical and subtropical regions
- Fresh leaves contain about 4% caffeine, as well as related compounds including theobromine.
- The young, light green leaves are preferably harvested for tea production; they have short white hairs on the underside. Older leaves are deeper green.
- Different leaf ages produce differing tea qualities, since their chemical compositions are different. Usually, the tip (bud) and the first two to three leaves are harvested for processing. This hand picking is repeated every one to two weeks.

So....

Looks like there is money in them thar hills!

This sounds like the process of angiogenesis. Something which William Li talks about.

Renowned researcher and practicing physician William Li, MD, shares his breakthrough research on how you can eat to fight cancer. Discover innovations in scientific understanding of the process known as angiogenesis, and which foods are being scientifically proven to fight cancer and to help you thrive. This information could save millions of lives.

Nano tech is the future and it is one of the things my company will be investing in shortly specifically for the research and development of ending the scourge that all disease brings. We are on a mission to end suffering from Disease.

Uhhh.. you don't need all that fancy stuff.

Just eat the foods Li talks about in the video.

I found this pie chart very good to read.

And this bar chart being good to know.

You may want to read this as well.

So this guy had cancer and was going to die. So instead of seeking treatment. He went back home to greece to die. But he didn't. He ate the local food and just got better. Interesting don't you think? Looks like he stumbled upon angiogenesis accidentally and got better.

The Island Where People Forget to Die

Six months came and went. Moraitis didn’t die. Instead, he reaped his garden and, feeling emboldened, cleaned up the family vineyard as well. Easing himself into the island routine, he woke up when he felt like it, worked in the vineyards until midafternoon, made himself lunch and then took a long nap. In the evenings, he often walked to the local tavern, where he played dominoes past midnight. The years passed. His health continued to improve. He added a couple of rooms to his parents’ home so his children could visit. He built up the vineyard until it produced 400 gallons of wine a year. Today, three and a half decades later, he’s 97 years old — according to an official document he disputes; he says he’s 102 — and cancer-free. He never went through chemotherapy, took drugs or sought therapy of any sort. All he did was move home to Ikaria.

One..he changed his environment and became more physically active on a farm he built. Two...got away from stressful media fake news, etc..Three...changed his diet and obviously enjoyed some grapes (red wine).

So he did a total holistic approach to his road to natural recovery

Right. If you notice what he ate. And what William Li said about foods that cause angiogenesis. He had tea, grapes, wine, garlic, tomatoes etc and got better.

Goes to show that diet can cure cancer.

And while I'm sure that it may not be effective all the time. It can help most of the time.

Nowadays you have to wonder if those foods he ate were organicn non-organic/GMO

It's not as simple as diet. That depends on where/type of cancer.

You need nano particles to actually be able to reach the cancer and have a payload that delivers it carefully to the area/location then attach itself to the cell walls which then binds to them and destroys them as the nano particles slowly get past the cell walls and cause death by leaking out proteins. Sort of like a bunker buster missile.

Have you watched the video by William Li?

In angiogenesis. The foods eaten help to destroy the cancer by cutting off blood supply to the cancer cells. Killing them in the process.

If you haven't seen the video. You definitely should take a look.

I think you kind of need to rethink what you are thinking.

Angiogenesis is the process by where the body gets a chemical request to build a blood supply. In the case of cancer, the tumor gives a request to the body to build a blood supply for it. The body responds to the request by building blood vessels, capillaries and a nutrient flow to the tumor. That's why it was originally called Cancer btw... the autopsies showed a tangle of veins and blood vessels from the tumor that looked like a crab (cancer).

PREVENTING angiogenesis is a BIG deal in preventing tumor growth.

And yes, diet and a whole lot of other things can block angiogenesis.

But stop using the term as a thing you can "stumble on" and finding it cures cancer.

Thank you in advance...

ETA... perhaps you are thinking that you are using the word Apoptosis. That would make mores sense as a thing that someone with cancer stumbled on relating to diet which could promote cancer cell death.
