Mine were Irish immigrants who came here legally in the 1890's and changed their sir name to fit American culture. Their friends and family members worked in coal mines essentially as slaves and were slaughtered en masse after protesting for higher wages and better working conditions.
My direct ancestor's ran a slaughter house and built the community from the ground up against all odds. Yet because I'm white I'm not allowed to use the oppressive Irish history as a crutch for my failures.
Lol you clearly don't know the Hispanics in texas....... I don't know a single one that's democrat or left leaning....

Not basically and not stolen.
Texas was a Mexican state that revolted from Mexico when the Mexican government abolished local governance. Texas was not the only state to revolt, but was the only state to win.
A very complicated issue, and money was exchanged.
With that said it still offers new opportunities in politics.

I don't really disagree with you and I wasn't saying that in the OP ManBehindMask. I mean Texas is already 31% hispanic and still votes strongly Repub. With that said it still offers new opportunities in politics.
Most hispanics I know of tend to vote Repub.
