I thought I'd bring this here. This story tugs my heart.

With so many negativity on the MSM which they love to push, I am glad they reported this.

A 15-year-old girl is being praised for her hands-on approach to helping a blind and deaf passenger traveling alone on an Alaska Airlines flight last week.

It's easy to forget there are some compassionate, caring people in our country.

Remember the news focuses on the bad side of things most often.

It is hard for me to even imagine being deaf and blind traveling, most likely feeling so alone. It must have been wonderful to have this person enter that world. She is a good one, as people go.

I helped a drunken lost hitchhiking woman find her friends house last week- but I didn't record it and put it on the internet. guess I'm not a hero...

I remember seeing this viral posting on FB a few days ago. It was an awesomely feel good story. Not simply the 15 year old, but of all the passengers and airline crew as well. Every person on that flight had good hearts and wanted to assist this gentleman. He was very fortunate this young girl knew asl and she does deserve recognition. The original posting was giving voice to all of the exemplary unsung heroes on that flight.

It is sad that so many good humanitarian stories are untold. The media likes controversy. Those stories often generate more chaotic stories due to creating public outrage. Good stories often do not produce sensational offshoot stories, thus they tend to be ignored by the MSM. Often local news will share...but it rarely goes viral.

I do believe that the majority of humanity are good hearted no matter what divisive titles proproganda attempts to apply on them. It is unfortunate that the media will more often give a big voice to the extremes. It is not reality...it is agenda proproganda for their personal profit. They need to stay relevant and can only do so by creating stories that will produce more outrageous stories.

It is such a sweet story. I cried and didn't even realized it until my husband noticed and laughed and asked me, "What are you reading now???"

I don't believe it was the young girl who recorded this. It was the passenger next to the blind/deaf man. She never sought recognition.

People do good deeds all the time, as you did, who never seek recognition and we will never know. But they know and the others who help know and that is enough for most.

I saved a lady bugs life one time before. Virtue signal incoming.

But seriously. It's always awesome to see that some people don't instantly draw any lines in the proverbial sand. I mean, no one asked the guy if he was a Dem or Repub. He was just offered help from a human being.

That was beautiful. An earlier article I read says the girl has challenges herself but she one upped her limitations to try and help someone in need. I believe well should see that as encouraging despite our limits, to do the best we can in all of life's activities and of course including if we can help another, when it is forgotten or pushed aside in today's modern culture.

Most people have helped others one time or another and it's not about asking for recognition or payment. In which this girl wasn't asking for, it was in public and very likely beyond her choice to share, nothing wrong with sharing.

strange replys first it is oves the girl was just wanting to help and it was someone else who recorded and uploaded .
second has helping now come with a demand to get recognized as well ?
all of a sudden any one who helped with any thing feals the need to be sure we all know it .
Funny thing is even with no camera and nit wittens you still get something in return .
Te fealing you made a difference if only even for a mint.

Not to worry, 25-30 years from now she'll be posting about the government on this site too...
