I was going to put this in Rant but as it's sports (of a sort) here it is , I don't want to rant at Tyson Fury anyway because he's just doing what's right for him but as with others before him it is a sad end to his career.

As a former Tyson Fury fan I chose not to watch last nights "fight" as I have a certain taste in farce and this wasn't to it , the decision was a good one.
Here are the "highlights" of the Tyson Fury Vs Sefer Seferi fight for anyone curious enough to watch it.
***SPOILER ALERT***

Seferi was pulled from the fight in the 4th , I think his wink to Fury after their embrace says it all.

I would normally say get it while it's hot but I doubt anyone will copyright strike this.

Tyson believes he can go on and reclaim his crown , on this performance I doubt even he believes that.

Looks more like one of those gypsy fight videos with the fat fellas in. His belt was nearly up to his nips to hold the gut back lol. He had some talent years ago and it didn't hang around.

No wonder some of the coked-up fans went on a mini-riot. They'd paid for tickets and got four rounds of fannying about.

I think calling it a Pantomime would be doing Jack and the Beanstalk a disservice but from the highlights it wasn't far off that. seems Fury is like Bruno in that without boxing they're lost and prone to bouts of depression.

Perhaps he can get back in shape but I doubt it , I wish him luck.

Bellew will murder him if it's a fight that happens. I don't wish him any luck at all. His family have done despicable things to people I know.

Lol! Tyson is quite the character. He ain’t boxing in Wembley though....as boxing is my ‘truest’ sports’ passion, I watched Beau Crawford mollywoop Jeff Horn last night — hope those of you across the pond with a pugilistic bent, get ESPN’s Top Rank Saturday Night Fights!! They are by far the best thing to happen to American boxing in decades.

Y’all have Joshua and we have Wilder. That’s gonna be a helluva fight.

But, yeah, I hate Fury pissed it all away — guy always left me laughing or scratching my head. Never boring. Always something (apparently, that good ole Texas Booger Suga).

If the Bellow fight happens next, you might be right.
If it happens 6 months or later, Fury will beat him senseless.

Boxing NEEDS Tyson Fury. If he stays on track, he will end up being a top 5 heavyweight.
If he is serious about fighting at least once more before the end of the year and mops up one or two more bums, Bellow could be next and he would be outclassed, not to mention massively out sized.
Tyson could realistically run through all the British HW's in the next year, capped off with Bellow, the Price.

Unless he has to go through Povetkin, (or maybe Big Baby Miller) I expect a shoedown with Wilder or Joshua by the end of 2019.

ESPN and Bob Arum saved boxing, after HBO cut it's budget and gave up on boxing, sans Kovalev, GGG, Canelo, and maybe 3 more fighters left in their stable.
Crawford was amazing on Sat. Best eyes in boxing.

Don’t forget Arum snagging Loma!

Now we get Wilder Vs Joshua in the fall. Deontay Wilder is Going to UK This Fall to Steal Anthony Joshua’s Soul

YES!
I didn't think that they would go this year. I figured we would see them both fight twice more before we got this!
Tough fight.. anything could happen.
I have 3 outcomes.
Joshua on points if it goes the distance
Wilder signature pull the guard down with his left, KO shot with the right,
or Wilder runs into a check hook and gets into trouble, leading to a TKO

Really pulling for Wilder, though. To have an american undisputed HW champ would be huge for american boxing,

...and so tonight Tyson Fury, still unbeaten by the way, takes on Wilder for the heavyweight championship of the world.
Someone's 0 has got to go.
Personally think Wilder will be too fast for Fury and will knock him out, but Fury has frustrated many opponents. Interesting. Fury is most certainly under rated.
