So, you wish that you were an asshole with poor taste? Or are you one already?

I am already an asshole. What’s your excuse?

It was an honest question, thanks for the honest response. My excuse is autism.

This may be a good thing. It might help some kid get out his frustrations this way and not do something stupid in real life.

Because it's in particularly poor taste. Are you a sociopath? Does that need to be explained to you?

Careful, or the next wave will be crying out for a national registry of people buying "violent" video games. And, I don't think that would be unconstitutional.

But it sure would be setting a scary precedent.

I’m one of those people who think all games where you shoot and kill people or other beings is not heathy. I think it has psychological repercussions or affects ones view in regards to the act of killing.

I think even in World of Warcraft where you go around killing lots of animals for fur or prizes might not encourage healthy views.

The makers should be jailed, what's next a game of rape. How is this even getting to the publishing stage?

I would not be at all surprised if someone has already made a game like that.

I remember there being a torture game a few years ago.

Columbiner freaks. Look for their trademark pin in the game.

What is this "Columbiner pin"? I saw it mentioned previously, I think by you, in reference to the Soviet red star. Are you still calling the Soviet star some kind of "Columbine symbol"?

I don't see any problem with randomly murdering children and law enforcement in a video game. It is just a game. Most adults, as we can see here, also do not mind.

Besides it could be educational like this one that was done some years back.

We could do some other cool games:

President Assassination: Customize the prez to look like your least favorite (mine would obviously be Trump) and shoot the mofo! It’s just a game. Nobody really gets hurt.

Child abduction and Rape: This is a really good idea, because it would relieve pedophiles stress without exploiting any real children. It’s just a game. Nobody really gets hurt.

Killing Dogs and Cats: For those beginner serial killers, practice your skills by using various torture techniques on virtual cats and dogs. It’s just a game. Nobody really gets hurt.

I could be mistaken, but I am certain every last one of those games exists.

Tokyo, Japan (CNN) -- The game begins with a teenage girl on a subway platform. She notices you are looking at her and asks, "Can I help you with something?"

That is when you, the player, can choose your method of assault.

With the click of your mouse, you can grope her and lift her skirt. Then you can follow her aboard the train, assaulting her sister and her mother.

As you continue to play, "friends" join in and in a series of graphic, interactive scenes, you can corner the women, rape them again and again.

The game allows you to even impregnate a girl and urge her to have an abortion. The reason behind your assault, explains the game, is that the teenage girl has accused you of molesting her on the train. The motive is revenge.

What happened to RapeLay is an example, said Bien-Aime, of why Japan needs to police game makers.

"It's obviously very difficult to curtail activity on the Internet. But the governments do have a role in trying to regulate this sort of extreme pornography of children, both in their countries, and through the Internet ," she said, adding that they were calling for the Japanese government "to ban all games that promote and simulate sexual violence, sexual torture, stalking and rape against women and girls. And there are plenty of games like that. "

Those games are known as "hentai games." Almost all feature girlish-looking characters. Some of the games are violent -- depicting rape, torture and bondage in detail.

As far as killing the President, there is probably a new mini flash game about that every month somewhere on the net.
Its just a game right?

en.wikipedia.org... they have the presidential assassination one for jfk at least

www.youtube.com... oddly enough they do have a kidnapping flash game that seems to imply bad things happening at the end (probably NSFW)

dogs and cats can be killed in fallout and farcry series the latter being pumas and normal dogs though

custers revenge was pretty much the worst themed video game ever made and its ancient by today's standards but its goal is to walk around raping native american women while they shoot bows at the player character who is general custer......

Night trap where you play as some kind of vampire and stalk and murder teen aged girls through a mansion...

call of duty modern warfare 2's No russian level was pretty over the top at the time

www.cnet.com... warning slide show, but this pretty much covers most but not all of the games made with not the best taste but never underestimate what video games will try to get away with

this # is old hat.

Goth kids have shot up your school, and it's up to Pico to save the day! Originally featured on Newgrounds in 1999, I finally refactored the .FLA to accommodate faster computers. The problem with this game was that it was meant to run at 24fps, but boss battles slowed down and made things easier. As computers got faster, so did the boss battles.

Pico was made in Flash 3, before the availability of variables (or just about any code, for that matter). To simulate stored data, I weaved a complex web of movie clips that gave orders to the main game. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of frame labels, so all the commands referred to frame numbers. This meant making changes to the flow of a boss battle (ie inserting frames to slow down movement) caused MASSIVE problems to arise. I finally muscled through it, so now you can beat the bosses on a fast computer!

Distasteful yes but like the OP says why is this one so bad when there are many like it out there already?

I can tell you for sure the publicity it is being given will make more people buy it, i already want to play it lol

Also has this not already happened i seem to remember another game coming out after the Columbine(not sure i spelt that right) shooting that caused a similar fuss.
No i don't think this will encourage people to go shoot there schools up there are much more pressing issues regarding mass shootings and the people that carry them out than video games
for example - mental state - bullying - access to firearms - upbringing - home life - friends/lack of - drugs - government involvement(possibly) - many factors to look at.

On the other hand the types of games people become obsessed with could show us an indication of where there head is at, rather than games being a cause they could be an indicator.
