They smashed the Ferrari quite a few times on the original show too. That shouldn't be a deal breaker.

[sucks air in through teeth] Hmmmmm. Looks a lot more violent than it was and not seeing any chemistry between Magnum, TC and Rick. Magnum looks like a bit of a wet drip and bland. Higgins as a hot English babe looks formulaic. At least she's not a mixed race bisexual to hit the multicultural buttons.

On the positive, they've spent more than a buck fifty per episode. Higgins is a hot English babe. They've stuck with the Ferrari.

Its in preparation to bring in a prius as its replacement.

So I just watched episode one.

Higgins got a sex change.

Magnum got a race change.

The new Robins Nest is a sweet pad. It's absolutely to die for.

Beyond that.

The original is still better.

from the preview, like another said, seemed there was just no chemistry.

The other issue is not just Higgins being a woman, but the fact that it changes it more to a will they or won't they, instead of old wiser father figure.

I'll check it out, but seriously doubting it.
