Sara Carter is among the shrinking number of REAL investigative reporters in the MSM. Here is what she is saying about the I.G. Report.

COMING OUT IN 3 SECTIONS.
1st was McCabe.
2nd is FBI's Attempts to Help Hillary Win.
3rd is the FBI/State Dept/CIA coordination with domestic MSM and foreign spies to keep Trump from winning, and to have him destroyed, IF he won.

The McCabe section was the easiest, which is why it was released in early April.

What we're waiting for now is the section that describes how the FBI attempted to help Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump. It is thorough and implicates quite a few top-level Obama Admin officials in the FBI and DOJ. Sara says that this 2nd report will not be made public for another "3 to 4 weeks". Inspector General Horowitz has sent it to the FBI and DOJ for "scrubbing"...to be made viewable by the public. (We may NEVER see the full report!) Also, those who are implicated, are consulting with their lawyers..and can refute anything they feel is incorrect.

The third installment, will take a LOOOONG time to complete.

I'm not sure I buy this. With the news today about the Republicans gearing up to ask for a second special counsel, I'm wondering if they already got wind of the fact that the IG report is going to amount to a whole lot of nothing.

The problem is that the Inspector General can issue recommendations, but he cannot subpoena or indict anyone. He can only issue recommendations that someone be prosecuted. That's what I.G. Horowitz did with Andy McCabe. That was well over a month ago, yet no prosecution/trial has been set.

You're right that a Special Counsel is needed. He/She can do everything, from start to prison...even with non-government employees. That's something that Horowitz can't do.

The Inspector General Michael Horowitz, and top-ranking FBI officials, will appear before Congress next Tuesday, June 5th.
