"MP5-0" Deputy dumps magazine at fleeing felon after violent assault

Last December, 37 y/o Arturo Jimenez shot out the windows of his truck after accidentally locking his keys inside. A short time later, Deputies catch up with his vehicle manage to bring him to a stop. While conducting the felony stop, the driver (Arturo Jimenez) fires at Deputies prompting a return of gunfire and a pursuit ensues.

During the pursuit, you can hear one Deputy ask the others to "fall back" as he speeds ahead to an on-ramp to set up an ambush on the armed & dangerous fleeing felon. The video from Donut Operator shows the incident, and the results of this Deputy's quick thinking and bravery are definitive.

Because the fleeing suspect was wearing body armor, he sustains minimal damage from the pistol-caliber rounds fired from the MP5. It does bring him to a stop, for a second time, where Jimenez surrenders to officers.

This video demonstrates clearly why attacking officers is never a good idea.

Have yet to figure out why ol' boy starts to walk down the road with his weapon holstered on a felony stop.

What's it got to do with Australia? I'm just a little sick of being constantly bombarded with violence. Yeah, OK, some cop stopped a bad guy. Whoopdy doo. No need to glorify it and show the video.

Maybe Im just in a bad mood today or something, but anyone with half a brain can come to the conclusion that being bombarded with this sort of stuff constantly does nothing to help with peoples overall psychology.

It's a clip from another dashcam video. Oklahoma State Troopers in a running gun battle. The video is from a Trooper's in-vehicle camera.

Think it's a tactical shirt as opposed to a patrol uniform. If memory serves, the trooper was/is on one of OHP's tac teams.

Not really glorified, but it did form a small bright spot in my day to see another scumbag taken out. Too bad he survived. He'll just be back at it as soon as he gets out.

Thats one hell of a cop who set up the ambush.

Armed and with body armor = Nightmare.

Thank god and this officer that they stopped the felon.

These type of police officers are what give everyone pause when judging bad cops. There really are some incredible people in law enforcement. A few are the jewels of our nation.

Meh, whatever. A job is a job. A cop knows the risks just as much as a burger flipper knows the risks of hot oil. Do we praise said burger flipper?

This is just pure propaganda to keep the sheep submissive and compliant.

Are you Adam, or perhaps Eve... or Lilith?, visiting our time just after you were created? Cause I'm pretty sure glorified violence has been around since before modern man was here.

So, your reply would make perfect sense if you were the first human just stepping through a portal and ending up in someone's room that had ATS on their PC. And being that you are the first human, uncorrupted, you were super smart and could instantly understand English, use computers, etc...

So, you can see how I'm struggling to understand what's going on here.

Kryties, he opened fire on a half-dozen Deputies. This guy Shot out his own window after locking his keys inside his vehicle. The normal reaction is to call a tow truck or break the window if you had to get inside expediently

He had several weapons and was wearing armor, ie: looking for a fight. He was already wanted for shooting another individual, and verbalized his desire to shoot and kill the officers
