The empty stare

So you have given up on your dreams.
Those stories that Shakespeare never wrote
all those words Zarathustra never spoke
Why bother trying?
it's much safer to be broken
all these lives
we will never be able to quote.
Just stand still and watch the world pass by,
you know with that empty stare
just like a goat.
Let's forget loving
much better to be empty
hiding and counting coins.
When your hiding,
there is safety in numbers
said the sheep and to the goats.
yes they wonder here and there
just like you!
Just like a ghost.
I know these words I say
won't hurt you, won't reach you.
Cause your just not there.
But, these words are for the others,
others who are able to care.
For those who are willing,
willing to dare.
It's not righteousness,
its all about loving.
Simply loving.
It's our birthright,
Living life
spreading light
everywhere.
