I remember the Tule fogs we used to have in the valley back in the ‘70’s. One time the fog was so thick I couldn’t see to the end of the hood of my car, less than 3 feet! (It was a tiny British sports car)
Haven’t had fogs like that since.
I miss them.
I wonder if the people involved in 108-car pileups figure that out?

I guess people who drive in thick fog and avoid those pileups must have some luck on their side, but yes it seems a little insane and many of us have done it.
