Russia's State TV Instructing Russian Citizens To Start Prepping For War.

Pure propaganda. There will be a conventional war in Syria between Us forces and official russian forces (not mercenaries) for a while before there is any chance of nuclear weapons being used. Frankly, it wont happen (barring Putin developing some brain tumor) until the war spills into russia. The warning signs we should be looking for now are american units and russian units fighting each other openly and directly. But that is not what we are seeing. The Us and France have been planning the coming attack in syria WITH RUSSIA on the deconfliction line for the past few days. If there was an attack right after the chemical weapons were used WITHOUT THE USE OF THE DECONFLICTION LINES then i would be worried. But this, the coming strike, is all just kabuki theater. Posturing. It means almost nothing. Its just a bunch of countries discussing which of their equipment each other can destroy for show.

Normally such rhetoric wouldn't cause me to bat an eye, but the current administration makes both of my eyes twitch. It's hilarious to me, that Trump supporters actually believe Trump is capable of making the "right" decision. Especially when his administration is full of ex-military and war-hawks. Which is why his campaign was hilarious to me.. talking about not being involved in wars. He is so easily manipulated, it's not funny.

So does Russian TV warning citizens of war alarm me? Yea.. somewhat, and the flippant attitude of (typically younger) people in this country today makes me shake me head. It's all fun and games.. until it isn't. Putin is a very smart and calculating person.. it would be foolhardy to just dismiss warning signs like this. Putin isn't Kim.

why is it always around spring time the war drums are beating strong then by summer time we forget all about it. time and time again.

Where did you guys see this address to Russian citizens to prepare for war ? ... I am not sure but as far as I can see the latest development indicate the Iranian dumping of the US Dollar and moving into the Eurasian Economic Union.

As a side note, wouldn't it be funny if some oil rich regions of the Caspian sea suddenly re-united with Russia similarly to what happened to Crimea a few years ago ?

The only clown who have been politically and militarily defeated are EU politicians like Macron. They are running a war-scare around the EU every 5 minutes.
Moreover western media has been running unjustified war-scares for about 60 years.

The Russian government has a responsbility to protect its citzens. A move taken by the Russian govt very reluctantly IMO. Considering Russia's history I'm certain they'd rather not go through another war.
