I'm not going to disagree that both countries are guilty... we have done our fair share to assist the importation of drugs and crime. And you're right: both countries should work together like adults instead of arguing like children.

But right now, this instant, Mexico is the one threatening to hold its breath.

That doesn't excuse our prior leaders who helped create this mess, but it does focus immediate attention on the Mexican Senate, who I don't think really wants the bright light of truth shining on them.

The Mexican government is completely fake, it seems like that's true doesn't it? It was put there to control things, who put it there i don't know and i won't look into conspiracy about that but it seems like an obvious thing to me.

What will happen next is either people will get fed up and take them out of power or whoever put those guys in control will replace them with more easy to control puppets. I think Mexico has been without a real government for decades. I'm not affected by this to be honest. I just have that inner, probably misguided feeling, that justice is not with the underdog in this case and it bothers me a bit to be honest, but oh well whatever, have a nice night and i'm out

Well, maybe the idea of Mr. Hugh Bagley, the ex-US president candidate want-to-be should be reconsidered.

His main idea was for the US to annex Mexico.

www.modbee.com...

www.youtube.com...

He was a write - in candidate, and did not have a true chance to win, and is gone now from political life, but his idea remains.

What if the US did annex Mexico?

I think it could solve some serious problems. Border problems? No border anymore ...
Yes there would be a flood of Mexicans coming north to join the labor pool, and a lot of money would go from the US south into Mexico to increase their social programs ... and that would be a drag on US taxpayers at first ....
But, there would be many people in the United States that could then own land in Mexico, and invest in development there. It is not widely known, but Mexico is very strict on who can own land, and foreigners (including 'Americans') cannot own the land. That retards development, and would change, especially considering a likely influx of retiring baby boomers into Mexico for the nicer climate.

The 'new' border of the United States would then become the southern border of Mexico, and would be a lot shorter border geographically to protect.

So:

Why not annex Mexico, or at least consider it?

Thank you, Mr. Bagley!

Bolivia did the same thing with the DEA. Their country was soon divided between the drug /war lords and the government.

The Mexican government and Mexican cartels depend on our drug enforcement and intelligence agencies. There is a lot of their cash and product on our side.

This is probably all show and then its back to business as usual.
