Huh, we may be getting back to a time when people relearn why all those puritanical morals existed in the first place all over again.

I couldn't agree more. There are laws in the universe. Basic ones. It cares not if you "believe" they exist or not.

There are consequences for not following basic universal rules. Bad things happen when you choose to ignore basic universal laws. Laws that have existed before you and I even existed.

The key is understanding that the universe simply doesn't care what anyone "believes". It's there no matter what opinion people have, or if they are offended by it.

In other words, God doesn't care if anyone "believes" or not. It's never been about that. It's about trusting his plan. Humanity hates him. I don't think he cares. Reality exists regardless.

He probably the type that doesn't carry contraception/condoms and doesn't care if his partners use any either.

Most of us know that sex can create both nasties and/or beautiful babies. Yes you can make a baby and you can leave it behind, but if ya make the nasty one it comes home with you, no leaving that 'baby' behind.

I note in the article it states they are searching for his other sexual partners, so he's clearly 'been around' since coming back from holiday, I notice it also states he 'had' a regular partner'', as in the past tense. Sensible lass.

Oh my. Random sexual encounters. Just like animals. All work of the devil it seems. Let's all purify once more

We don't need a return to puritanical times just like we don't need the modern day version of the "progressives". We just need individuals to ask themselves a simple question, "am I willing to live with the consequences of my actions?" If the answer is no, then don't do it. Simple enough? Never mind, nobody is paying any attention to reason anymore. Go back to voting for your favorite karaoke star on TV.

Now i know what it takes to make us laugh.

Let's hope that the cure is jokes and laughter.

I do not understand why people do not practice safe sex , they use the excuse that they do not feel anything with it.

I rather feel a little bit less during intercourse than to feel my sexual organ falling off or rotting away.

does anyone besides me find it interesting that VD basically proves the prescient wisdom of ancient religions that taught monogamy and abstinence as virtues?

Speaking as an anthropologist (who's studied these things), the ancient religions weren't much hung up on monogamy (remember the Bible and all those men who had multiple wives PLUS concubines and were prophets of Yahweh?) And nobody taught abstinence, because they actually didn't know how pregnancies started. Many believed it was deity ordained.

Marriage is a relatively recent practice. In a lot of cases, they just moved in together and in places where the woman did not become a man's property (Egypt was one of those places) they could leave each other easily and find other partners.

Sex before marriage was extremely common, and in the early days of America the couples would begin living together and marry whenever a preacher showed up to do weddings and baptisms.

Just wait until super-duper-gonorrhoea comes out.

Yeah, stick it in then you explode!!

Not in the good way!

So where we talking about?

Phuket? Bangladesh? Cambodia? Japan? Sidney?

Asking for a friend.

My stepdad used to tell this story about bootcamp training video they'd show before being sent off to fight in Vietnam.

He claims there was one called the "Bullhead Clap". Where the end of your junk would swell up like a beer can, and part of the treatment was to whack it with a rubber mallet. Part of the story was that you stick your pinky into your ear and twist it a bit to get a nice bit of ear wax on the tip, then stick your pinky into her hoojiwaabi, and if she had it then she'd start squirming and freaking out or whatever because itd burn.

He is a BS artist of course, so it might have been a made up gross out story. Which it certainly did gross out all my buddies when we were teens LOL.
