Ok, So Spoilers are below. If you haven't watched this show and you enjoy this forum, I suggest you watch it ASAP!
So, for those who are watching this, the whole 2 worlds thing is an interesting idea, much like the Fringe TV series, but this one seems more
realistic IMO. It seems like I could be watching the US vs Soviets with each one being a separate world, and the border being, again, Berlin. From
my view point, the USSR is the "other side", the one that had the virus, and the side where most of the show takes place being the US.
Now I've always thought that the World Trade Center was odd, especially it having the twin towers, almost as if they represented something,
East/West, Communism/Democracy, This world/The Other World?? In the show, they use a building to move between worlds and they mention that the two
worlds are linked but separate. The towers falling always seemed off to me, the manner and everything surrounding it. I'm wondering if there is
some symbolism in the attack, both method, manner and target(s). In the TV show, almost the whole world doesn't know about the other, so I would
suspect that would be the case in ours as well if something similar were a reality.
To me, the 9/11 seemed somewhat like a live production/act/theater in many ways but I'm not saying it didn't happen or people weren't killed, it
could also have been the my age and perspective at that time, as with others, everyone perceives things differently.
Has anyone watched this show and drawn any parallels to real life?
