The real question is how are Hillary and the DNC connected. Obviously Trump had no part in the payment and fabrication of the fact-challenged dossier about him.

We know how. First off, the DNC paid Steele for his work. Second, aside from Steele's dubious Russian sources, we know that Syd Blumenthal fed him large amount of info that went into his dossier. This info supposedly came from the State Department (which was under John Kerry at the time).

Since it now appears that Sessions will be appointing a second special council to look into all this (from a Republican POV this time), I suspect that this recent poisoning was the CIA/MI6 tying up loose ends by eliminating a potential witness.

Chris Steele better watch his back, because logic suggests he'll be on their "To Do" list also. They cannot take the risk of Steele testifying under oath about who his sources were, where the money went, etc.

Once a Russian spy always a Russian spy. That and this all happened very close to one of the largest stockpiles of nerve agents in Europe.

It's an intelligence report (a summary of 'on the ground rumors from sources', not facts) meaning it's unverified in nature, some will be true, some will be false - it's what an intelligence report is - it's not an intelligence analysis or review as people seem to be getting confused with/deliberately playing mental gymnastics to make try and pass it off as discredited by claiming it's something it never purported to be.

Just had a thought, based on events and revelations.

I think this former Russian spy and his daughter were poisoned by American Deep State operatives. Russia don't "botch" things like that. And there's a pattern. American Deep State also planned to frame Russia for Uranium in Iran/Syria.

No wonder Putin is staying quiet. Trump has assured him that he's going to root-out war mongers within our government... and elsewhere.
