They already syphoned all the private information and stored it in a cloud somewhere besides there are many competitors who would gladly fill that role again. Correct me if i'm wrong please but Facebook did add a new privacy policy that allows you to delete your account permanently only recently and after CA and the memo, did they not? Why was everyone okay with this in the first place? To be honest i wouldn't even be here if it weren't for my old account that i was able to reactivate. ATS demands a Twitter or Facebook account to register now. A little bit strange if you ask me with the conspiracy angle and all. Forcing people to make an account on very questionable social media plattforms to be able to write here is kinda contraproductive to the cause. Don't get me wrong because i still like ATS. It's just an odd observation on my part.

Thanks for the information. So Facebook is still relevant and actually important in a lot of circles. Now that I think about it, my Family uses Facebook for photos, announcements, reunion info, etc.. Hopefully Facebook will give some advance notice before going "poof!".

Maybe that would explain why ATS is the only forum that gives me a hard time with posting, refreshing the page, and navigating, periodically through the week?

The lack of security on a website containing content that exposes crooks, government coverups, etc, makes ATS ripe for attacks from hackers.

I really want to start a "CNN Owner JEFF ZUCKER supports Sex Criminals" thread...or something to that effect. Do we have enough evidence yet to start such a thread? Last night I was able to find how Zucker joked about NBC Matt Lauer's sexual deviations. And of course, there's the Zucker-Weinstein closeness.

Ms. Barr later shared several links involving law enforcement initiatives targeting human trafficking, including a White House statement that touted hundreds of recent arrests and another proclaiming April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

“I have worked with victims of trafficking for decades & supported the fight against it. Sorry to have mentioned it here. It’s not the place,” Ms. Barrclarified about four hours after the initial tweet.

...and there's what Kathy Griffin said about him. If you find one or two more seedy items, that should be enough for a thread. IDK of anything specific, but intuition and facial reading tells me he's a sexual predator. And I don't make judgments like that lightly.

You know...I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that's strange. And not just on ATS, from my POV, but in general.

Does it seem logical that in order to verify the identity of a person, these sites would rely on a social media platform that anyone can make an account on and say they're anybody they decide to be? Not to me...unless that's nothing but a gateway for them to access any and every bit of existing data on each individual.

Seriously, do people think they match up a person's info to their facebook profile and then go, "yep! That's the right person alright!", and that's the end of that? Hell no...you're just giving them access to all your information because it's all been collected by the same network of people via different platforms all working together behind the scenes.

And all manner of sites ask for registration and offer the "convenience" of signing up through facebook or Twitter. And they give incentives on a lot of them for "completing verification" via those platforms, too.

I would certainly agree that romantic love is an essential part of the human experience. Unfortunately it seems to me that probably 10% less every generation will actually experience that.

Flashback:

Top Ranking folks of the BBC had been accused of pedophilia and child trafficking for decades. The accusers were disparaged in the media as conspiracy nuts and "right wing extremists". Then, one fine day, BBC Jimmy Saviles vast pedophile ring was exposed.

As usual, no recognition or acknowledgment was given to those who had been ridiculed as conspiracy weirdos and extremists.

The incidents and connections uncovered, as well as the silence of the BBC on the pedophile ring in their own company, should have put this "News Channel" out of Business for good. But they just keep going to this day.

Its important to keep in mind that serial child rapist and pedo-ring pimp Jimmy Saville had a number of
charities as well as collecting donations for
Children in Need.

These people are SO EVIL it beggars belief. How can a child rapist request donations for "children in need" from the compassionate but oblivious public?

How can a famous person in the spotlight for decade, keep raping and trafficking children and go unnoticed by law enforcement and colleagues?

Would many people miss Facebook? Rarely do you see any links to that platform in ATS threads.

Admittedly, I never cross reference my FB life persona with ATS. My FB life is simply to give snapshots and video MSG with family afar. It always stays very positive and upbeat. It is very PC.

My ATS persona is a release or venting of reality...negative and positive. It is an outlook of exploration that cannot be shared in the fabricated social media world of today due to political correctness.

I am sure I am not alone in keeping these worlds separated. Recent news has even proven that it has been a wise decision.
