Eight years later, the mystery surrounding the crash that killed Princess Diana remains a mystery as to what caused the crash that killed three, sparing one, that of Trevor -Rhys -Jones,and Henri Paul's parents who firmy believe that their son's blood level was not as high as officials stated that caused the fatal crash as officials stated.
Using a model of the car, and new technology may help the investigators fully understand the accident.
It has been stated by officials that the alcohol level of the driver was too high and that it may have caused him to drive recklessly, killing the Princess and the passengers.

A team of British detectives searched the Paris tunnel Tuesday where Diana, Princess of Wales, died in a 1997 car crash, hoping the use of the latest high-technology equipment would provide new clues to the accident.

A French court has ruled the crash was an accident caused by the drunken and speeding driver. However, British royal coroner Michael Burgess opened another investigation to determine whether the deadly crash could have been the result of a plot.

The speeding, high-powered car Diana was riding in crashed into the tunnel's 13th pillar Aug. 31, 1997, killing the princess, Fayed and the car's driver, Henri Paul. Diana's bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones, who also was in the car, survived the crash.

Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

The accident that took the life of Princess Diana has always left many leery of this accident,, thinking that it may have been a plan of one of the royals, to get rid of her, so Prince Charles could re-marry.
The fact that Trevor's Jones parents has said they firmly believe that he did not drink that much alcohol that particular night, and now, ...is taking this claim to court to redeem his name, makes it appear they may be telling the truth, and that there may have been someone who tampered with the blood, after the fact.
This investigation I believe is to get rid of this story, so that Prince Charles can marry without any bad media.

Just a clarification regarding the driver that seems a bit confusing from the submission. The driver also perished in the crash, it is his family going to the courts to clear his name.

The one survivor, I believe a bodyguard was sitting in the front passenger seat. I am not up to date on his condition or whether any information ever came from him after the crash.

Trevor Rhys-Jones was the only survivor.
He was sitting in the front passenger seat, and was wearing the seat belt.

Yes you are right. Also, it was not until an hour later that they discovered him in the car! It took them 52 minutes to get Princess Diana to the hospital, and one paramedic was photographed talking on a cell beside the ambulance with her inside, on the way to the hospital..Strange I think.

He has never even called it an accident, so if it was a tragic accident, why didn't he call it that? I am very interested in this.

I have a friend who lives in Paris who says apparently there are 4 hospitals within spitting distance (15 minutes max) of the crash site, which begs the question why did it take so long to get to one?

No, they had to get rid of her...she was a loose cannon, and God forbid she ever got pregnant by a Arab.

You are exactly right! Dodi, who was Muslim, and Diana being pregnant when she died, would have caused the death of Queen Elizabeth! But,
there are so many theories out there and I am currently studying Princess Diana's life. I have the photo of the paramedic talking on the cell phone.
Some say she is still alive and her spine was severly injured, but, I am still reading up on this. I will post more on this, this is one mystery I would love to unravel! Any help is appreciated, so if you can find anything to post here, please do so, I need all the help I can get.

Maybe someone from France can confirm the story we were told here in the US as to why it took so long to get Diana to the hospital.

The US approach on such accidents is called "scoop and run" - the ambulance drivers scoop up the victim and get him/her to the hospital as quickly as possible. But in France, the focus is on stabilizing the patient before transport. Check them out, stop the bleeding, give them drugs/fluids/etc, and when they're doing OK, then move them.

Both ways have merit of course, but on the whole, getting the victim to a fully-equipped hospital as fast as possible seems to work out best.

As to whether Diana was indeed pregnant, it depends on which forensic specialist you believe. This is an issue that has never been resolved to the satisfaction of the public. There is strong evidence that she was, including testimony by a Paris doctor of therebeing a fetus. The counter claims also have their evidence. The last I read, those who said she was not preganant were basing their results on a post-mortem examination of Diana's body which had already been partially embalmed. Experts say that under those conditions it would be impossible for the forensic nay-sayers to conclude she was not pregnant.

There is some artcicles I found, have a look..and I have many more and iwll post them
One is a letter from the Queen, below. The rest are from Bill Clinton to the Queen, Tony Blair, Prince Charles and Earl Spencer. Read the site and see what you think.

I think in my own opinion that the photograph says more than a thousand words about conspiracy! The future Queen, in a horriffic accident is lfet unattended while he talks on his phone. What could possibly be so important that he had to take a call, or make a call, than getting Diana to the hospital? Maybe she is not dead?

The above photograph,, was shot about 600 yards from the Le Pitie Salpetriere Hospital, where the ambulance carrying Diana had inexplicably stopped for ten minutes, allegedly to administer a dose of adrenaline to Diana, that was denied by the hospital. This photo summarizes the entire scenario behind Diana's murder
r proof that she is alive. Here is a French official talking on his cell phone, while not more than ten feet away the mother of the future King of England's life drains away, when this official and every other official present should have been yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs for the ambulance to dispatch with all haste to the hospital, where a medical team of 25 of Paris' most experienced medical professionals had been assembled and could very well have saved the poor woman, if only they would get the ambulance to the hospital!

Three reporters who chased the car Princess Diana was in, and her companions, could get one year in jail, and fines of $53,000
dollars.
We may never know if it was their actions that caused the crash,
or, something else. But, they were partly responsible and should
pay to the highest extent of the law.

www.cbsnews.com...
Photographers on trial for invasion of privacy testified Friday they were only doing their jobs when they snapped pictures of Princess Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, on the day they died.

At the one-day trial, a prosecutor argued that the three defendants violated journalistic ethics and deserved suspended prison sentences for taking photographs before and after the couple's fatal Aug. 31, 1997 crash in Paris.

"What they wanted to photograph was misery, distress, people covered with blood," prosecutor Beatrice Vautherin said, asking the three-judge panel to set clearer limits on the boundaries of photojournalism.
