I have got Locomotive Breath worked up with a band I sing with on occasion and I love it.

It's a good song, I happened to come across it earlier and had to listen again.

Sweet music for a quiet day.

Always been a fan of Jethro Tull. Ian Anderson is an interesting soul.

He also lent on of his flutes to an astronaut

Love me some Jimi and Tull, good post.

For those that may not know, here's some interesting history on how JT got their name.

Back in February, 1968, we had many different names which usually changed every week, since we were so bad that we had to pretend to be some new band in order to get re-booked in the clubs where we aspired to find fame and fortune. Our agent, who had studied History at college, came up with the name Jethro Tull (an eighteenth century English agricultural pioneer who invented the seed drill). That was the band name during the week in which London’s famous Marquee Club offered us the Thursday night residency. So it stuck.

I read somewhere years ago that they had around forty names before becoming JT and when they saw the band lineup for the night which ever name they didn't recognize was them, LOL.

I have seen Jethro Tull live three times. I prefer the earlier stuff. Anderson is an amazingly clever lyricist.
