At which point Democrats would have gone after him for placing national security in jeopardy. Schiff stated he wont make the revision to his memo so apparently all he wanted was the politics for it. Its right up their with Democrats demanding open debate on migration for supporting the 2 year budget. McConnell has tried to get the debates going however Democrats A- wont bring any of their bills to the floor and B are currently filibustering the debate process - IE Democrats are obstructing the very thing they asked for and got.

It is really unfortunate and counterintuitive to their narrative that it is Republicans who are fighting for immigration reform and DACA protections. Heck, Trump tosses around "path to citizenship" which is unheard of for a Repub (or Dem) POTUS

I guess all the Dems know how to do is obstruct, would be nice to see Senate get rid of the filibuster !
