I believe there is more to our existence than is visible in this physical world.
I believe dreams confirm there is more than physical reality.
I believe the abundance of patterns throughout the Universe is not the result of randomness.
I believe that certain events happen for reasons other than coincidence.
I believe telepathy and precognition are possible.
I believe energy is what binds all life and all matter.
I believe that if you are willing to listen, the universe will speak to you.

What do you believe about life and the universe?

I believe all that too.

There is more in this life and when I say life I mean existence. Our existence go past beyond this material phase. And our dreams are a preview of more to come.

We exist to learn to not repeat past life mistakes again.
We exist to show others that life is more than making money followed by death.

We exist to utilize everything learned here on Earth to take with us to the next realm. In that realm, every talent that we learned will be put to good use as long as it betters others and causes no harm.

Basically, get born here, learn talents, die, then pick a planet in the Universe to use those same talents on.

Note: all memories will be remembered. Evil doers get mind-wiped and reincarnated on this planet.

We're biology that's about it. We live, we procreate our species & we die. Dreams are our minds way of hashing out the recent events in our lives, sorta sorting the wheat from the chafe. I suppose all others that replied might believe in ghosts or spirits.........if you do ask yourself this question. Why are there no sightings of ghosts or spirits of animals? I mean where are the dog & cat ghost's? Where are the horse ghosts ? Why only humans are able to have an afterlife? Makes zero sense that only us humans can have a heaven or a hell or an reincarnation. Biology that's about all we are. This is my opinion and mine alone.

I believe the purpose of humanity is to learn and love !
we are a species that exhibits compassion and courage even though our biological death is inevitable
and we know it from an early age and yet we still keep going.

Our purpose is to continue on expressing the one !

Do you believe there is a higher power monitoring our progress? If so, is it possible to get "fast-tracked" so that we can excel at a quicker rate, or reach enlightenment sooner?

Yes our progress is constantly monitored.

Spiritual 'Bread-crumbs' (dreams, coincidences) are there to tell everyone if they are walking their perfect path or about to fall off a cliff.

"fast-tracked" can be done via divination. Warning, negative entities will intervene and rig the information to benefit evil.

Dreams are the best form of divination, especially dreams that are unforgettable.

Also, follow your heart to accelerate the process.

I'm happy to stop at the first one and it's provable.
If we can't understand our existence then that invalidates any other theories we can have.
But my worthless opinion is..

The meaning of life is to find solace in the fact that there is no meaning.

The meaning of life is to find solace in the fact that there is no meaning.

In the game pin the tail on the donkey, it helps to have a general idea which direction to go.

In this game here, we are always blindfolded, pointed the wrong way by those running the game.

I hear them jeering as we wander in the dark.

Why does it have to be someone else's fault.

Why can't I be blindfolded and going the wrong way because I'm fumbling through life with my thumb up my ass.

Most people are.

Point is what are your perceived goals, who are you listening to for guidance?

Further: They put the blindfold on you and 'spun you around', remember?

Finding solace in meaninglessness is absolute contentment I think.
Regardless whether there is something there or not.

I haven't achieved it and I may never do so. But it's a clear goal.

As for guidance. I'm pretentious and argumentative.
I'm guided by a desire to prove myself wrong so I listen to all those who disagree with me.

Sorry, I completely misunderstood that.
I thought that was an extended analogy about TPTB controlling us and you were blaming "the man" for it.
My bad.

If you're saying that a goal to accept meaningless doesn't allow for a clear direction?
You're absolutely right, I'm basically playing whack-a-mole for meaning.

That's the clearest rebuttal I've had to that.
If only I didn't show myself to be borderline illiterate you could take some pride in that.

I'm not sure there is any meaning at all to any of this.

If there is, there are no indications whatsoever. So many theories, so much speculation. So many religions, convinced they are the one and only 'true' religion. Why does the universe and life have to have any meaning at all, other than to assuage our human curiosity and fear of the unknown?

I believe you are allowed to decide the significance of existence for yourself. Have fun with it.

Remember, "to do is to have been". By works, not faith alone.

WWE is mindless. So is school, church, news broadcasts, the cult of celebrity surrounding Superheroes, Hollywood, TV, Politics , Sports, Social Media, etc.

What droll, what a bore, I can hardly fathom how anyone can imbibe all day, becoming intoxicated by it all.

My friend used to call it 'Mindless Entertainment' .

Thats what I meant by being 'blindfolded and spun around' .
Thats what I meant by 'playing their game'.

How much does that, all of that have to do with our role in the Universe.

Thats humble enough, we are all programmed by the system of the world to behave the way they want us to.

Me included.

I detached from that system long ago, don't measure up, haven't any of the milestones of success and ambition we are conditioned to from early in childhood.

I am not a good earner, consumer, I am not a good Roman. I am a complete failure, a poor person, a bum, lowlife scumbag, etc.

I deserve to be put in a camp for disposal.

Boo hoo...

Name a school yard play ground game that doesn't divide us and pit us against one another. "Swings"? Okay.

Any others?

We have no role in the universe. We've been here for mere moments and barely managed to leave the actual planet a handful of times. Maybe we should settle our affairs here on earth before considering our impact on the cosmos.
