Well, that was quick. I wonder if her speech at the Golden Globes was a trial balloon, too see how much interest there really was in her running for president. And when it turned out interest wasn't nearly as high as one might have expected, she called it off.

Did you really need someone to tell you Oprah would not run for president, slow news day im guessing.

Maybe no Oprah, but John Kerry is floating the 'idea'.

Hope its true but this interview was before the "big speech". And before that she always said it.

Thank God, but then again Trump said the same thing a few years before running so we'll see. I hope not but I won't get my hopes up, rich celebrities seems to be what we prefer in presidents these days.

It was funny I was reading this on my phone and it was the cnn article and it mentioned a hypothetical pole that had Winfrey up 52% 42% on Trump for 2020.

Allready the 3rd time I have seen that poll mentioned by CNN.

I think Oprah is running and the #metoo movement was set up to lay the ground work and kick off her fundraising through the 'Time's Up legal defense fund.'

All that money is going to trial attorneys and the largest Trial Lawyer Association and top political donor has given at a ration of 93% Democrat and 7% Republican since 1990.

Also, consider this...the domain name OprahForAmerica.com was registered, in MARCH 2017, by a D.C.-based PR Management firm called Patriot Strategies.


Their website has a client list that includes the Obama Campaign, Clinton/Gore, Kerry/Edwards, Howard Dean, and also lists the DNC as a client:

For some reason, that PR firm knew back in March 2017 that Oprah's name would start to float as a possible candidate.

Don't count Oprah out because she says she isn't running. I have the feeling "she will have to answer the public's call and run."
