The Peace of God to all that belong to the light,
Dear Readers,

Yesterday we all witnessed through the media in the United States a kind of scandal that represents the worst chapter of all what
it was this so long chain of sexual harassment issues that have touched an incredible large list of public figures along years in the country, and which crimes can be traced up to two decades ago.

We have seen similar cases damaging the reputation of people in the public spot like Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, Dustin Hoffman, Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer, David Coperfield, Michael Douglas, Ross Levinsohn, Mario Testino, Joel Kramer, etc. etc.

So it is logical and sensate to ask why this so evil embarrassment has occurred to America?

How is that the nation that was proud to defend Human rights become a bad copy of the Roman Empire in decadence?

what has caused this so terrible moral illness that America is suffering like an epidemics spread almost everywhere?

A criminal court of has found that about 150 athletes and former athletes of the National Gymnastics team accusations against a licensed sport physician Dr Larry Nassar were fully substantiated and have found him guilty of all those crimes. He is facing right now a sentence that will be no less of 40 years and could go upto 174 years. This charges are coming in addition of others previously also substantiated of children pornography that was found in possession of this same person.

It is difficult to don't think in a possible connection with what happened also twenty years ago here in America, something that involved as the case of Dr Nassar allegations of abuse of authority, and misconduct in exercise of professional duties.

When we think in why has taken so much time to uncover these terrible activities in a National sport team, It is difficult to don't think that we are living in the shadows of a precedent of lack of Universal rule of Law that may explain such delay.

Does this might be the consequence of some terrible mistake committed decades ago, that created a pattern of flexibility that was established in the way for long time justice has seen sexual misconduct from public figures against young people?

How about the way the Senate handled the Sexgate scandal of 1998 against President Clinton?.

President William J Clinton became acquitted of several grave criminal charges, primarily Not because there was doubt of his responsibility in certain acts, but for mere political considerations, even after the prosecutor had collected enough evidence to support the alleged improper behavior probably existed, supposedly carried out in the White house with a young girl, just two years older than his own daughter, that was working there, Miss Monica Lewinsky.

When the Lewinsky scandal exploded in 1998 there were already along, almost two decades at least before, other similar scandals around Bill Clinton past, since the time he was governor of Arkansas if not before it :

- Juanita Broaddrick accused Clinton of raping her in 1978;

- Kathleen Willey accused Clinton of groping her without consent in 1993;

- Paula Jones accused Clinton of exposing himself to her in 1991 and sexually harassing her.

The Jones allegations became public in 1994, while Willey's and Broaddrick's became public during the 1998–99 time period, toward the end of Clinton's second term as president.

Through his representatives, Clinton had responded to the allegations by attempting to discredit the credibility of the accusers, noting that (in the case of Broaddrick and Willey) they previously testified, under oath, that Clinton never made unwanted advances.

Several witnesses close to Willey and Jones state that the two women described their encounter with Clinton as consensual. Even if that would be the case, those issues represented adultery, which a moral fault even if it could be considered consensual in a kind of open marriage for the damage that may cause to third parts.

It was only on Monica Lewinsky case of misconduct that occurred in between 1995 and 1997 that finally B. Clinton was unable to go around the legal apparatus since apart of witnesses or testimonies there was a very difficult to deny hard evidence pointing against him, a spot of what appeared to be his own fluids on a Lewinsky coat. Few days after this was known the President recognized to have lied under oath when was interrogated on it.

There is indeed consequences in the long run of to create a precedent of a person in position of authority that can escape without major consequence of these kind of misconduct. No doubt it can affect enormously the ethics standards at all levels and in all professional fields and business sectors, it was like a clear message saying:

if you are the boss you can do it and Nothing really bad may happen to you, you are not going to be charged or even fired in spite that you may try to to cover up the issue, commit perjury or obstruct justice.

There every week more and more voices that are daring to say the outcome of the sexgate of 1998 was definitively wrong for the nation moral and caused incredible damage to the ethics at all levels, a Public functionary that was Not even forced to resign when he is accused of a lot of faults that for any other person at that time would have represented facing criminal charges in any court of the country.

Clinton resignation was the smaller and softer possible penalty that he deserved fairly to face considering the critical of his behavior, but he was able to finish his second term without major problem and even with the years to come back in to politics trying to put his wife also in the oval office.

Many have tried to compare the acquittance granted to B.Clinton with the Presidential Pardon granted by Gerald Ford to former President Richard Nixon, but there are fundamental differences in between the two cases;
- R. Nixon was pardoned after he resigned the office of President of United States
- R. Nixon was penalized by losing his pension as former President of the United States
- R. Nixon lost for ever his lawyer license, so he could not longer work in his original profession.
- R. Nixon was not impeached precisely due to his will to resign the office.
- W. Clinton impeachment was actually already initiated by the House but acquitted since no single democratic vote was casted
against him in the corresponding sessions of the Senate.

It is true that Mr Clinton gave to Miss Lewinsky a monetary compensation before his term was officially ended but what about the Moral compensation that he owed to the country for such scandal and his terrible bad example?

Thanks for your attention,

oh, ya, it all stems back to bill clinton....
we can just ignore the Franklin child prostitution ring, or the calls boys were given midnight tours of the white house, how the fbi went around when newspapers hit the streets covering that and gathered up the papers.. and of course, we can just ignore how those who willing to testify, or investigate the claim, ended up dying in plane crashes, were threatened by the fbi, and one victim spent more time in jail than one of the main players of the operation when she stuck to her testimony....
oh, we can just ignore all that because that main player was Lawrence E. King Jr, who was a high profile republican at the time, and it was the bush white house that the call boys toured.....
so, ya, let's just ignore that one, right??

I just want to make a quick mention that few things in my life were more satisfying than hearing the judge plunge the knife in and twist it slowly while delivering her verdict.

I know quite a few folks who have been victimized without recourse. It made me smile for them.

As children we have been manipulated to believe that capitalism is good and communism is bad. But everything that promotes the ego (the I) above the spiritual (the us) will keep us in pain. That pain comes from an ever inflating ego that requires a greater and greater fix to fend off the emptiness which is inherent in itself. So we are only deluding ourselves in seeking rightenous in the synagogue of satan (unbridled greed). No human rights laws will stop a cancer.

That is the warning in Genesis. The snake that stops us from acheiving garden of eden is our ego. We will surely die.

Yes a good verdict but how can over a hundred girls not say anything to their parents? Dr Nascar- ok were going to rub your pelvic floor for a few minutes, and no one reports him.? One girl won a gold metal in Gynastics afer treatment.

you have hit on the biggest reason for this. the fact many, many victims, have allowed it to continue by not even trying to stop it. how can such things be stopped, if no one except those involved even know about it. if you don't know, how can you possibly stop it. this is the same with any crime. you can not deal with it, when you don't even know it has happened.

Dont distort my claims:

I never said that Clinton mastered this scandal in Gymnastics, what I pointed is that the lack of penalty over his own horrendous scandal of sexual misconduct opened a pandora box which a lot of other scandals came from, following the terrible example that his case represented for the country.

Anybody that really knows the law realizes how grave is to state a precedent, and that is precisely what occurred 20 years ago when he was acquitted.

Dr. Nassar is only the tip of a very large iceberg. Now we hear of a "Ranch", where things just as bad, or worse, were done to these young ladies. Right now, this could blow out and bring the entire USOC down in flames, IMHO. The honchos of our amateur sports' committees, had to know what their employees were doing, considering the scale of these abuses.
