The boards are temporarily closed to non-members... so anyone not logged-in won't see the boards. We seem to be having a number of "site archiving" agents hitting us now. Four different IP's have been observed in the logs using automated site archiving software. All have been blocked. More later.

During the slowdown, my firewall detected attempts to lift protected information from my computer. I guess these "site archiving" agents were up to no good.
Thankfully, SO is on the job keeping our site safe from intruders.

SO, you rock!!!

Denial of Service Attack?

Whenever "coincidences" occur, I get suspicious.

Hopefully this isn't a DoS, but the Internet's a tough neighborhood in the worst part of town.

Give 'em hell if it is.

I smell Zombies!

Get your shotguns and cricket mallets everyone! Aim for the head!

Conserve your ammo, there could be thousands of them..

hehe

Some will laugh, and some will wonder what the hell I'm talking about.

Is everything under control SO? My response time is much better, as reported by others as well.
