salted peanuts. believe it or not Aldi has the best out there. light blue jar. sea salt. banging.
for sunflower seeds planters is my favorite.

i love macadamia nuts but at $18 a pound i dont really get them much.

but lately it has been all about the almonds. it is costly too

Wonderful snack choice! I too love nuts and even the unhealthy chocolate covered ones.

Aldis has a great selection as well as prices.

Pistachios and roasted peanuts for me, heck, with the pistachios I'll go so far as to suck on the nuts shells, salty goodness

Boiled peanuts here, I know but, you gotta try 'em.
Other than that I like nuts as an accompaniment to something else.
I really like almonds in my green beans.

I love them but unfortunately the oxalates in them create kidney stones in me

When I was a kid, we had six almond trees in the backyard. We loved harvesting them each year and having bags full of them for months.

I love these almonds in the Wasabi and Soy Sauce flavor! Here in Canada they're way more expensive, but I have to have them.

Sunflower seeds. I used to be all in on Fisher's, but Dakota are really good.

And I also love pistachios.

Almonds are good.

Planters used to have spicy peanuts. I used to call them hot nuts, but they don't sell them anymore.

I eat almonds pretty much every day, along with peanuts. Great to add to my lunch or afternoon snack to keep my appetite at bay.

Pine nuts, Brazil nuts and Pecans anyone?

Forgot the best one, chestnuts. Roasted on the wood stove. We have a chestnut tree just outside our property. The tree must be around 500 years old or more. Still it gives us delicious nuts.
Our walnut tree is maybe 10 years old but doesn't give much nuts, luckily there are enough growing in the wild here as are hazelnuts. Just ate some hazelnuts we collected over 2 years ago, still tastes the same.
Been thinking of getting a couple pistachio trees, anyone experience with them?

Husband and I have two of the round re-usable screw top containers. We've discovered that one large bag of Dakota seeds will split out evenly into them and just about fill one up.

We allow ourselves one bag a week ... two if they're on sale.

You get your container topped off at the start of the week, and when it's empty ... it's empty until you go shopping again. So you have two strategies: either eat while the eating is good, or learn to ration.

All nuts are relatively expensive, but indeed pine nuts are probably among the more expensive nuts but totally worth it once in a while.

As kids when we were playing in the woods we used to eat beech nuts, not tried them for a long time now but I remembered they tasted pretty good.
