The idea of that Youtube is a democratic meritocracy created to give a voice to all people to freely communicate their ideas, with a right to be paid for their rambling is is beyond all comprehension. It is a for profit system (created with funding and oversight of the CIA) that serves to collect information - that is its purpose. The CIA created Facebook and Youtube to collect information which is fed into data base systems that work to help control you by helping you find the information they wish you to find. They byproduct of the true Youtube purpose, is that ANYONE. ANYWHERE, Can put up a video of their car, their cat, their coffee pot making coffee, and Youtube will store that video for anyone to see, anywhere, at anytime FOREVER and for free!

You have no right to use Youtube, or be paid by google. Next to no one on Youtube has any idea how the payments system sells adds, how the system stores their rantings, or how much power, effort or resources it takes to give the money for showing how to put your makeup on before prom. It is remarkable that billions of largely pointless clips are available without a single poster have to do a thing. And because a few, less then notable people MIGHT be deemed unprofitable to Youtube is a non issue, and certainly is NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT a first amendment issue at all.

Right now you can take a video of yourself cutting your toenails, put it on Youtube for FREE and it will be there long, long, long after you are dead. In fact, you can put it up there and aliens with wireless tech and view you masterpiece. Things must be put into context for the love of god.

I bet it has to also do with not winning the war on shared copy-written videos. They just needed a great excuse, that will affect the smaller and upcoming people utilizing the videos-namely original content. Challenging Logan Paul has become a punishment for these people or at least an attempt to since a lot of the Vbloggers videos who were removed for re-sharing info about Paul have more followers than required by the change. The smaller audience ones of course are SOL.

Sharers of videos who use the ads keep returning with new accounts. Not saying I agree that agree that they profit but for some there's no other options to see such videos, hear certain music, etc.-or at least without torrenting full albums for example. Can see a lot of music shared by non artists lessening. Can also see people torrenting more as a result as well as see even more alternative sites to Youtube springing up.

Humm Not worried wile google has become restrictive in even what the search brings up they will redo it .
In the end it is all about money so when they make a change any change people ether except it or the money stops flowing .
Over all Google makes more money from the changes so far . When that changes so will they or a new company will take over .
Simple same with pay for internet time vers unlimited .
Really you go to a company they say unlimited 50 $ you go to another company they say 10 $ for 10 gigs so being stupid you pay 50 for 50 gigs a month two weeks later your out of time .

You going to redo it next month when you can get unlimited for 50 $ ?
You tube is no different they want to make money and will fiddle on that to get as much as possible from changes ( some will work they make more some will not then they will take it back out .
