Hi Swanne.. how are you ?

Forgot to ask Timely how he was , so I’ll ask him as well within this post.

I can’t sleep for some reason and it’s 4:30 am here 🤔... it’s a good thing I can sleep in when I do get to bed.

Don't you ever get the feeling you are in a Blade Runner world, with publicity and famous people everywhere, all promising you happiness but everything filling you with simply more void?

I guess I am just... Bored.

lol.. bored ? Been there.

I quit buying into hollywood happiness many moons ago.. not sure I ever did for that matter, though I did enjoy watching those celebrity talk shows like ET and similar garbage years ago ( ok .. decades ago..lol )

I can’t stomach anything Hollywood these days, especially those shows. We glorify people for pretending.. it’s quite absurd when you think about it. I admire their talent at their craft, but they are not demi gods, not my moral conscience, and certainly not my political teachers.

Anyhoo ... got off on a tangent there 😜. Sorry bout dat..

* slinks out of post sheepishly 😁*

Well, well.. that’s quite the answer.
Should it make me feel well ?
Oh well (sighs).. it’s a deep subject

I don't watch TV much; everyday life is actually the source of my boredom. It seems like the world is stuck on a loop that slowly decays into the dystopian.

The days grow bleaker, the rain falls harder, as meanwhile publicity banners colonize our world. So much light in the cities yet the world has never been darker.

This is the truth of our world, and so eloquently put.
Try to light a small candle of hope, either in your heart or your home. Times will get darker, I fear ,and we will need Hope and courage along the way.

May I play?

Following from page 127...

From a corner, Visaera the Green Pixie sat quietly in the shadows. She had had only hints and rumors of the Shepherd for quite some time - a somehow-green rose laid near her, a few tracks and a tiny wineskin filled with a strange, but tasty beer that was not fizzy like normal beer, a miniature necklace of shining gold adorned with a pristine emerald that nearly glowed - all left by her somehow while she was sleeping. But she had not actually seen him in some time.

Still, his words echoed with her. "If you need me, call, and I will come if I can.

Suddenly emboldened, she flitted off, out of the Shed across the flowery meadow, now dim in the light of the stars. Racing over peonies, poppies, and wild roses, she stopped at the oak tree on the hill. A gorgeous rosebush in full bloom, but eternally coated with a thin layer of ice, stood in the shadow of the great tree. Carefully, she plucked one blossom, shards of ice falling, sparkling in the night air. The bush responded by immediately healing the wound and producing another bud, full of life despite the ice covering it.

Flitting out from the tree, under the open sky, she set the stem in the soft earth, then waved her hand over it. There was a flash of purplish light, then the rose seemed to glow and hum. Abruptly, it shot straight up into the sky, a hundred feet above the top of the oak tree. The rose seemed to expand and brighten, now lavender, now golden, now for just a moment a brilliant, blinding white. Then it seemed to burst, scattering motes of glistening white light streaking in all directions.

She hoped he would hear. She hoped he would come. From what Errollorre had told Night Star and Gordi, the Shed needed all the help it could get.

That song brings tears to my eyes at times Night. It’s always been a fav and that’s the first time I’ve seen this band do a cover of it.

I dedicated that song to my son a few times... he thinks it sounds sad lol... I think it’s inspiring. I think Fin would appreciate those words.

I have a Nephew on my Husband's side whos Mom passed away years ago and this song has great meaning to him. It really is an inspiring song. I thought more than one person might enjoy hearing the song and lyrics so I posted it.

Thanks Night Star! It seems like it might be fun. I will have to come up with something else cool for the coming battle, however, so I don't reuse the Flock from the last Accasia battle. Hm, have to pontificate on that.

Aw, that's sweet Sheye! You're more considerate than I am I think.

Gordi stood up from the table and glanced out towards the Northern woods. He wanted to get back on the trail of the mysterious intruder, but something was niggling away at him... something that Pudge the Dwarf had said on their last meeting.
He decided to seek out Pudge before resuming his pursuit, for he was sure that Pudge might have information about what was happening now.

It didn't take long to reach the Tavern where Pudge had been hanging out, and immediately it became apparent that all was not well.
The atmosphere was horrible; a group of villagers had gathered by the Tavern door, many were crying and many more were bleeding and injured.
The attack on the defenseless village had taken its toll and those gathered here now looked haggard and bereft of hope.

Gordi went round to the back entrance and made his way through the kitchens to the rear of the Bar.
Pudge was sitting at his favourite table, tears rolled down his cheeks and there were several empty tankards scattered around him...

"Are ye alright Pudge? Are you hurt?"

Pudge looked up at Gordi, nodded his head and forced a weak smile... but it was obvious that he was not alright at all.

"I am unharmed my friend, but Mixie (the Pixie) is missing. She was down in the village when... when... they came. I tried to find her, but there was no trace of her and she hasn't been seen since."

"Oh no! I'm so sorry Pudge, you must be worried sick. But listen - She's a resourceful wee thing, clever as a dire-fox, as fast as the wind and I'm SURE she'll be fine.
Ah'll help ye tae find her if ah can, but first... we have another troubling matter to attend to... Do you still have the Magesphere that you brought to show nightstar?..."
